Billy and Tyson are indestructible. They won't get injured. But if one can't play - kidnapped by prostitutes or whatever - Tristan will go to 14. Some folk are expecting Patty to go to an edge if Piakura is out. Probably wouldn't be a disaster. A bit of his chat out there might keep Selwyn awake.

But if the Eels do lure the seven-time premiership winner to Sydney's west, it may not necessarily signal the end of Brad Arthur's long tenure as the club's head coach.

The Eels are toying with the idea of giving Bennett a coaching director role, similar to that which Phil Gouldholds at the Bulldogs.

He will play Mening and then where he plays Cup will be decided. He had a limited season in 22 and only played two Cryil games and played six games last year in Meninga.

So he really hasn't played that much statewide football. 7th game on the weekend so it's all football he needs to be playing.

So...like what happens now when an actually good second rower becomes available? I'm glad we just locked up RIki and Piaks,

This is just unbelievable from the Dragons if true, even worse than us signing up Lodge on a ridiculous figure for no reason.

It also has the potential to totally skewer the market. If a mediocre second rower is worth 900k, what is a Crichton / Riki / Martin, etc worth now?
