I would take Cleary over Mitch Moses as well, but some things are just no chance of happening. Fifita is a remote possibility if things somehow align, just depends if his salary makes it worth it.
Just quietly on this, I kind of feel OK that Payne is the way that he is. I mean there was a noticeable dip like during the whole release saga year, but other than that he's super effective doing what he's doing and it will likely prolong his career not going 100%.
He's probably a solid front rower but he's no second rower at the moment. Kinda feels like the Broncos might have stuffed up letting Capewell go, in the short term at least (but short term is where the Broncos are well in the premiership contention).
Reynolds got injured in the first half too, it was a miracle he even stayed on. That surely affected him, I don't think a healthy Reynolds loses to Madden in any situation last year.
So Alex Johnston just turned 29 years old a couple of months ago. He's on 188 tries, 2 behind Slater and 24 behind Ken Irvine's all time record. He could break it next year, maybe even this year if he somehow goes nuts.
It sucks, hopefully things go right for him and he can have a successful career in the NRL. Dunno much about his injury, but could he go the Brent Tate route?
I really don't get moving players to different positions sometimes.
Oh Walsh is killing at fullback? Lets maybe move him to the halves.
Oh Mam won Dally M 5/8th of the year and almost the Clive Churchill medal as a running half? Lets make him a controlling halfback.
Don't think he's at the level the other guys are...he's a great player, good to great at everything and probably the second easiest player to slot into any team in the NBA after Durant, but he just doesn't stand out at specific areas like the other ones do and his team is so stacked it can...
MVP race will be interesting if Embiid does not qualify, no longer a one horse race. I feel like Luka has been the 2nd best, but his team is trash, so it'll be between Jokic, SGA and Giannis.
Josh Green is just incredibly inconsistent. He can have a good game and then follow it up with 3 or 4 where he does absolutely nothing. Just checked his score right now, he's again on 0, and its like like 2 minutes into the 4th quarter.
So a couple of days after Embiid scores 70, Luka Doncic scores 73, the equal 4th highest score of all time...and not just that, but I think the most efficient 60+ point game of all time or something like that. Still tried to set up his teammates who were bricking shit left, right and center, so...
