[QUOTE="Big Pete, post: 2764099, member: 1899"] I can't see the Bulldogs losing tonight. While I wasn't surprised to see them lose to North Queensland, the way they capitulated from the opening touch caught me by surprise. The Cowboys were magnificent, producing a masterclass of Rugby League, but the Bulldogs only completed 66% and had 42% of the ball. As a lot of media outlets were saying, in order for the Bulldogs to be dominant they have to control possession. If James Graham, Aiden Tolman and David Klemmer can roll through the middle it will go a long way. On top of that, Perrett needs to put an unpleasant performance behind him and take a few carries from dummy half. The Bulldogs are usually at their most dangerous when they're playing off of his quick play-the-balls. As for the St George Illawarra Dragons, it's been a miserable run of losses. In recent times they've gone down by 36-6, 32-12 and 25-12. Last week can only be seen as a major insult to the club. Not only were they beaten by fellow top eight competitor the Wests Tigers, they lost on a week where Wests went through one of their most dramatic sagas in franchise history. The perception was that Wests thought so lowly of the Dragons, that they deliberately chose that game to give Farah the axe since they were confident of getting the victory. To make matters worse for Coach Mary McGregor, two of his signings, Tim Lafai and Savila Havili were charged with assault after an ugly incident inside a Wollongong night club. If the Dragons go onto win, it will be due to the new faces improving on last week. While they were far from perfect, fullback Adam Quinlan, centre Taane Milne and backrow Tyrone McCarthy had nice touches that can be developed. If they can improve and execute at critical times, it maybe the confidence boost the Dragons need. Ultimately, I believe the hill will be too big to climb. The Bulldogs will be hurting after last week, they don't have any disruptions to their 17 and considering their recent record against the Dragons I believe they should be too strong. 38-12 Bulldogs.
