Hannant to 5/8, he has heaps more ball skills than Hoffman.

Unless Hodges comes out of the game feeling a little worse for wear (in which case, rest him) I don't see the point in bring Maranta into the team, so I would bring Oates into replace him.

I like the overall look of your team, Pete. Would love to hear your thoughts on Reed. Do you think he's worth persevering with? I agree with you about Oates. He would probably bring more to the team but I feel for Maranta. I think if he's dropped it will be a joke.

Hoffman should play left centre and reed be dropped. So many times Reed gets the ball with a half chance and he just kills the play with his lack of speed. Hoffman and Vidot would be a dangerous combo.

Minimal changes imo. Just need to show up with a better attitude in attack and defence.

For this season I believe he still provides us with value as a centre, beyond that I begin to question what he'll be able to provide us out wide.

It's no secret that Jack's form hasn't been up to scratch and I thought last night's performance was the culmination of a fairly bog average month. In saying that, I still think he's a competitive player capable of coming up with some big plays (which he's certainly come up with) and I'd be willing to give him the opportunity to strike back this week.

Last night's performance wasn't acceptable, but the same criticisms could be made of basically anybody in the 17.

As for Corey Oates, I believe there are certain players that have to be included in the make-up of the 17 even if form doesn't permit it or even if they're not an ideal fit, Oates is that type of player. Just a strong talent that has a place in this squad and I believe he can be a weapon late running off of Hunt.

No, I'm just not fickle like some around here.

Last night's performance was a poor all-round team performance. Trying to pick a scape-goat and fantasy coach our way through it may just compound the problem instead of addressing it.

In my view, Barba is a fullback, or he doesn't play. Playmaking isn't his biggest strength and in fact, when we rely on him to do so, the only option that has been effective has been his inside pass. The rest has been very mediocre, so I don't understand why people see him as a five eigth other than to weaken one position to address another.

He's being forced to play more as a half because of golden boy Hoffman.

I always thought people overrated his ball playing ability. He's pretty solid in it, 1000 times better than Hoffman, but his running game is his strongest asset (just like Milford), you really want him playing off the back of 2 creative halves.

Missing the point, putting him into a role that demands more out of him as a playmaker isn't going to solve the situation.

I'd make a few changes. I think regardless of the game last night, the faults have been there, just below the surface.

1. Barba
2. Hoffman
3. Copley
4. Hodges
5. Vidot
6. Someone - Maranta? Kahu? Nikorima?
7. Hunt

8. McGuire
9. Macca
10. Kennedy
11. Thaiday
12. Gillett
13. Parker

14. Glenn
15. Oates
16. Hannant
17. Hala

2 out of 3 of those things will never happen. I can see Kennedy being brought into the starting lineup at some stage but the other two (new 6 with Hoffman into outside backs to replace Reed who is dropped) will NEVER happen under Griffin.

Kind of a piss take but I've believed for a while that Reed will finish his career in the 2nd row. Maybe it's time to start working towards that? We currently have a fair bit of talent in the backs and at this stage, he's the weakest link.

Reed has 1 more week to improve (purely because I know Griffin won't drop him) or he's out of my avatar.

1. Barba in the forward 70, Maranta in our 20/30.

5. Maranta in the forward 70, Barba in our 20/30

Pointless, Barba is a decent fullback defensively, and he's only had a couple of blunders under the high ball, he's clearly lacking confidence, or is playing injured, or both.

Not to mention teams would just bomb / target the wing he's defending on.

The Tits are currently pushing a full strength Storm team to their limit at AAMI Park.

Time to be concerned.

Fantastic win, I thought they were pretenders but they really took it to Melbourne.

I'm glad because I don't want the Broncos to kid themselves if they beat them.

The Titans certainly aren't the most consistent footy side in the comp. One week they will pull off a win like today, the next they get belted by wooden spoon contenders (not that I think we are wooden spoon contenders)

Beau Falloon would be longs odds of playing after dumping Chambers almost on his head.

Playing the competition leaders lol, this season looks as even as it's ever been.

Kelly will tear us to shreds if we play like we did this week.

We always seem to get up when playing them so I think we should see a really close match, with us winning.
