Brisbane Broncos 24
defeat
Sydney Roosters 14

Whoops. We beat the storm again, what an effort!111

Seriously shit win but I'll take it. Plenty to work on going into the finals, especially if we now end up finishing 4th.

Shit.

Edit: Fixed :P

Pretty sloppy stuff but good to see us come back from 14-0 down. Thought Hunt, Roberts and Kahu were all very good tonight.

You won't often see a team play dirtier in the ruck with the ball in hand than the Chooks tonight.

Fair play to Roberts, he had a clanger or two but otherwise was instrumental

Looks like Wayne must've flogged the guts out of them at training in preparation for the finals. Every single player looked buggered for the entire game. Also nice to see the refs put in their usual stellar performance. They were either trying to keep the game close or had a stack on the Roosters.

Did you see that roosters break before half time.....how forward was the short ball that led to it...wow

Boys played ok with zero ball and Cummins trying to rat **** us the whole time....

Milford & Roberts need to play with super glue on their hands, genuinely feels like they make 5+ errors every game between them. It's all well and good that you're blindingly fast and skillful, but you've just gotta hold the ball at some point.

Not the best win but we will take it. Bit of a let down after last week but when you trail 14-0 and win 24-14 you're obviously doing something right. Got some work to do before next week. Now we just sit back and cross ourselves that the Coast can beat NQL.

What a confused, disjointed, uncoordinated mess. Can't believe it was the same side as last week. Forget those random great tries - they were random.
Random won't win a game in this finals series.

I have to hope that Bennett has them better prepared next week, whoever we face. Good to see they had the fortitude to come back from fourteen down and score twenty-four unanswered, even if some of them were flukey. In a game where the calls and the bounce seemed to be going against us more often than not, it would have been easy enough to just give up, and a month or two ago they would have.

Bad execution, lacking a little energy (understandable after last week's game), but still showed enough creativity to get enough points on the board.

A win is a win, but not the kind of win you want before a finals. If we play like that, we won't be challenging for anything.

Also both of these refs screw Brisbane over EVERY time they ref our games. Something has to be done.

Actually what we showed tonight is the ability to come back after getting behind a game.

we haven't been good at that.

look at the stats when we concede the first try.

They will be fine, Bennett obviously flogged them this week.
