At least we can say we were beaten by the competition leaders.
We are only 2 points out of a Top 4 spot.
Brilliant.

F***ing saboteur!

Like he has been on a multi year mission to subconsciously pay back the broncs for sacking his daddy figure Griffin.

Btw notice how almost everyone of that cohort looked great, peaked early and now for years ride on those coattails failing to go to next level...
Stay positive everyone. We should be able to correct that negative for and against on Friday night. Or should I have said double it?

I didn't get to watch the game. Is it worth sitting through at all?

Anyone watch 360 and hear Mary banging on about how good it is to have a first class game managing halfback like Ben Hunt!! Ha

Hunts going to control and manage the game when in tight contests so Widdop can be the traditional 6... I wonder if anyone at the Drags had ever actually fucken watched Ben play?

Just imagine the most shocking, sickening, gut wrenching horror movie ever made and times that by 3. That's what it's like.

Did you also hear Mary say that Hunt got it wrong a few times as well?

He's far from the game manager they think he is.

Yeah, and the few things the game manager with a brilliant kicking game were game management and kicking...

I was in and out of the room and only caught bits and pieces and was yelling at the TV for the bits I caught!
Makes sense if Mary did notice a few flaws.

You know what?

I loved the hit on Vaughan from Su'A. While he was punished for it, he made his presence known. He made it clear he doesn't care who you are, he is going to fucking hit you hard.

He will make some players think twice about running at him.

I'm quite surprised looking back over the stats that somebody else didn't cop a lot more criticism.. Probably because we've never had any reason to ever fault his contributions or effort, but it's something worth mentioning..

Josh McGuire - 7 runs, 48 metres, 0 offloads.

Unacceptable, need him to be much better tomorrow night.

I nearly fell off my seat when I saw those stats. He's normally a sure thing to churn out 100m+ a match and take double the hit ups.

Thats the kind of defence you need to make your opposition think twice before offloading or passing before the line. Not saying he should do illegal tackles, just that we seem to have forgotten how to brace and hit. Theyre either too early Kahu, or not at all (half the forward pack it seems at times). Wrapping up the player is alright, but a skillful player finds a way if left to stand. It's harder to do those things if you're bracing for impact. It's also likely a mistake or two might come (round 1, unfortunately with our team on the recieving end, for example).

I certainly hope Bennett printed those stats out and shoved them in front of his eye.

He looked very rusty... but I'm willing to give him a pass considering he played all 3 origins last year plus the world cup (starting 13 mind you).

It's the first year he's had that kind of rep workload and he would've come back to preseason late with minimal trial time.

I did notice him starting to slow down at the back end of last year as well... mainly because of super coach where his base dropped from 55-60 down to low 40's.
