These sickening concussions can't be good for McCullough's long term health. Last year and now this one.

Also, hopefully we'll get Gerard Sutton to referee our finals game. We win when he refs.

To me this is the same situation as when Konrad Hurrell got suspended for his running technique, he injured several players by raising his knee when he was entering the tackle, including shattering Anthony Tupou's jaw and ruling him out for most of the season.

He got rubbed out for about a month I think. This is no different, it's clearly a dog shit technique that he needs to change, I haven't seen Hurrell raise a knee since he copped that suspension, I'm pretty sure the same thing would happen with the big red flog if he missed the entire finals series because of it.

Your move NRL.

It’s sad, I am hearing all the talk from guys like Kent who are saying he needs to be suspended and I am actually starting to get my hopes up that the NRL might do something. I do all this knowing that I will be disillusioned when the charges come out and he either gets a fine or a concerning act notice. Uncle Nick will call in some favours.

Haven't seen the Broncos attack look so fluid since Macca was out during the Origin. Let's hope he takes enough time off to completely recuperate.
What game did you watch. Our attack was far from fluid. I'd say it was clunky at best. The Oates try was a classic example of this. Every pass it the movement was poor

I'd agree with that. We didn't look great in attack but early on i think it was nerves, then without a regular hooker it was a little understandable.
We did well though, and if we defend like that against quality centres, I think we're in pretty good shape regardless.
Id take a strong defence any day over flashy attack. We have the individual skill to make things happen regardless.

That was simply a brilliant performance by the whole team. I'm extremely proud tonight. With what was on the line, top 8 chances, playing home finals etc, coming to Sydney playing a top 4 team, losing our hooker within 20 minutes and then losing Mago for HIA etc, it was just a really tough and gritty performance. Backs against the wall type stuff. Confidence boosting.

Milfords kicking game is really really good. After McCullough came off we stepped it up especially the forwards, in some way it was what we needed because we were too conservative and placid.

Fifita was incredible. Our defense was 2015 like. Our attitude was switched on and hungry to defend and shut them out.

Just really happy with this win and I'm hoping this sparks something in the boys to go all the way.

Agree, however for mine, there are still way too many pathetic arm grabbing tackle attempts and the only reason we didn't get shredded yesterday was because the initial arm grabber was backed up by a decent tackler, and in a few cases, that was Thaiday who, whatever you think of him, he knows how to tackle properly, unlike a bunch of our forwards and back.

If we continue to arm grab like we have for the past few weeks, the Storm for one team will rip us apart. The Bunnies and Chooks don't have the coaching or strategic class to take advantage of this pathetic defensive technique. The Storm on the other hand have always figured us out and they will do it again.

Our defensive technique just has to be fixed, and we will win this premiership on the back of it.

Totally agree with you, those arm grabs from last night were pathetic and we'll absolutely get exposed come finals time if we keep that up. Our scramble defense to shut down the plays after our arm grabs was terrific though, can't fault that but the arm grabbing has to do immediately.

TPJ was a beast as usual...I think we had 7(?) offloads during the game, and he had 4 of them in a fairly short period there...very impressed, he's come a long way this year. And to think, some (myself included) were a little concerned about losing Herman to the Knights because he seemed to be maturing better last year...

All of a sudden we have a forward pack that can match it with the best in the comp...Lodge, Offa, TPJ, Sua, Gillett, McGuire...

The reality is if we fail to beat Manly next week and the Warriors manage to leapfrog us into seventh spot we face a trip to Melbourne to play the storm the first week of the finals. As much as our young colts have improved I don't think they are quite ready to roll the wrestlers yet.
We need to do everything possible to avoid paying the storm

Now if they just tack on another 3 weeks for the sims maiming they nearly got the charge correct
