..and with twenty seconds remaining in this game Sims is lucky that when he dropped it it went backwards... to be picked up by Sims... who immediately has it stripped but the lose ball finds Hunt whose attempted field goal hits the post and spins out to.......an unmarked Maranta who has just come on the field. Unfortunately, Maranta was unable to cleanly catch the ball and knocks on. What was Hunt thinking about... going for a field goal? his team are still two points behind.

Didn't matter anyway, despite being in field, Maranta still found a way to step out.

That was Inglis’ trick wasn’t it?

Wonderful! My work here is done. The intent is to keep the standard up and by my action I have indirectly achieved the goal. With my mistake I have autofill/autocorrect to blame but no matter, I take ownership of the outrageous error. I SEEN worse though.
I missed his mistake Huge. Where was it. Not the " Very occasionally, apostrophes can help clarify expressions, even when they aren't needed.
Dot your i’s and cross your t’s." Was it?

No, I done bad. :aplastao:

Maranta could be a key signing for the Dragons after the departures of Kurt Mann and Nene Macdonald to Newcastle and North Queensland respectively.

Now now I think there is some justification to that claim, the coach and coaching staff can point to him to other outside backs at the club and say, see this player, I want you to take in everything he does...........and do the opposite.

Remember James Segeyaro? Yes, the one that walked out on his contract with Leeds Rhinos at the end of 2016… Well after failing to find an NRL club for 2019, he is now working in a local coffee shop.
Segeyaro walked out on the Rhinos prior to the 2017 Super League season to return to the NRL, however he is now without a club after Cronulla Sharks failed to find room on their cap to retain him.
As a result, the 28-year-old is working in a Sydney coffee shop with retired New Zealand winger Jason Nightingale and is hoping an NRL club comes in for him before the new season.
“I’m in the middle of no man’s land at the moment,” Segeyaro told Nine News Sydney.
“Every footy player knows how daunting it is when you don’t have a club. I haven’t got paid since October.”
After signing a two-year deal with Leeds in September 2016, Segeyaro walked out of the contract just two months later and only avoided court after the Rhinos agreed a settlement with Cronulla in March 2017.
Two seasons on and with the Sharks deciding not to keep the former Papua New Guinea international, he has been unable to sign a deal elsewhere despite speaking to a number of teams.

“I was talking to clubs prior to the season and I thought I was going to be sweet but fast forward to now and it’s pretty tough,” Segeyaro explained.
“I was close to getting signed but a lot of things go into it that you don’t even realise. I’m ready to go and I’m pretty sure every club knows my capabilities.”
Surely there's some club that wants to pick him up? He's working at a coffee shop now (owned by Jason Nightingale) so I'm sure he'd jump at a minimum wage offer. There's probably some unreleased stuff against him if no club is willing to go near him because he's easily more talented than half the bench hookers with an NRL contract.

Phil Gould still vouching for him

Wasn't he mixed up with Corrie Norman and that pill thingy a few years back as well as who he hangs with.
Maybe someone you don't really need around a young squad.

Gould may be vouching for him ... but i don't see him throwing Segeyaro a lifeline (even for minimum wage), i wonder why that is

He’d be chomping at the bit for a minimum wage contract too. Whatever the problem is, I’d say he is most likely worth the risk.
