It's easy to chirp off at the mouth giving your negative opinion of the club, but if you truly cared about the Broncos then why not show up to the old boys reunion and speak to some of our young team? Help them, try to motivate them. Explain to them what it means to wear the Broncos jersey. Make them FEEL your passion and let them SEE the pride in your eyes. But no, they'd rather talk shit about their former club and not even do something to help us. Fake. Fucking weak media hungry guys I swear. Thank you to the old boys who did make the effort and show up. Legends and the true fans love you.

This is a poor excuse imo. If you are one of the old boys that have been mouthing off and are so passionate about the club that you say these things (nothing to do with further your media career, just totes passionate yeah) you aren’t going to miss an invitation.

After all the articles and shows giving these flogs free tee off against the club (sorry @Huge I missed your posts questioning those articles based on them only being one-sided, if you could link me those that would be great) I appreciate an article like this that highlights what flogs these guys are. Put up or shut up. Gordon, Justin et al if you are so concerned about the club and the culture that apparently disappeared over a few months and the fact that you apparently aren’t remembered then get the **** down there especially when you asked.

So out of the 200+ former players that have played for the club, only 4 could be bothered to turn up. That's fucking piss weak even considering if all weren't phoned or directly contacted. The Broncos Old Boys webpage has a calender of events on it it ffs.

Surely not all of them are offended due to Walters being overlooked. Perhaps it was an honest error in communication. I do not believe the shit the Tallis et al. say about having the best interests of the club at heart. They have their own interests at heart and believe aside from trying to further their media careers the end goal is to bring down Seibold to install Walters as the coach. This is shit that we used to laugh about Parramatta doing and now not only is it happening at our club we have fans excusing the treatment from the old boys.

If Siebold does use it to lift the players, it won't be the first time. Bennet used it to great effect during the 90's. The problem I see is Siebold came into this club openly attacking the old regime. Of course there were going to be players and ex-players sentimental to the previous coaches, and this could not have helped in the bonding of the team.
He should ignore everything ex-players and coaches do and say from here on in and build the team he wants. If an idea of bennets was a good one, take it and use it, even credit it to bennet for those players i've already mentioned. If he tries a new approach, do so but without castigation of previous methods or ideas, explaining why and how.

Tallis and Gilly I can kind of understand tbf...both are contracted to other clubs. Not that I'm saying it's right of course, but they at least have a semi excuse. Didn't Tallis also say on one of the Fox programs that he's cut all ties with the club?
