Round 11 Discussion

Mitchell is a fairweather drytrack bully. When it rains for him it really pours. Few things go wrong and you get under his skin he has a shit game every time.

You're describing three Mitchells there.

This really puts our win last week into perspective. Roosters obviously aren’t travelling that well if the knights can touch them up like this

Knights are the form team at the moment. Look how they’ve rocketed up the ladder. Wouldn’t want to play them on their current form.

I’d suggest souffs are the form team being 9-1 and everything

I'm not sure why you think that. We are a great chance of winning this year.

Munster at 5/8 for a start. I don't rate him as highly as others. I watched his performances in Origin last year over and over again and I saw far too many problems. And not having any of the big 3 is going to hurt him.

We'll have several players going into the game with injuries and we're that short on depth we're going to have a half at centre and Mbye as the fucking utility. Mbye.

How could we possibly be a great chance?

Latrine is who I was talking about.

Moses is one of the ones you are,I know that lol. Pearce the other?

Got it in one mate.

Even in games, Pearce can throw the best long pass of anyone, but he'll only bring it out when the game is over. There was a State of Origin game where Pearce threw the best pass of the series and NSW went onto score this great length of the field try. He never threw anything like it again for the rest of his Origin career.

Credit to Pearce on tonight's performance and I'm happy that crowd was rewarded with a dominant victory. As a neutral, it breaks my heart that the top teams struggle to attract 20K on the regular. All that success is just wasted on clubs that do nothing to grow the game...even when they exist solely to do that.

What? Since when is Mbye the utility? They have to be fucking kidding right?

Since this evening when Read and Badel broke the story.

The Maroons stocks are so low in the centres and at dummy half they have little choice. It's either pick Mbye or go with Granville or Milford, neither of whom provide any versatility.

NRL ‘We must protect the kicker’
Nek minnit ‘Nah nothing wrong with the tackle’ apart from offside, late and high contact. JWH is a cat

Jennings was sin binned for an accidental head high on Isaah Yeo earlier in the season.

JWH doesn't even get a fucking penalty. That was worse than the Jennings incident and it was intentional but doesn't get put in the bin?

Back to Pearce, his career highlights the fine line all 'game managers' are judged against.

A half can put in the exact same performance and if they win they're a great half and if they lose they're an 'overrated hack'. There's so little between a Cooper Cronk and a Mitchell Pearce, yet history will remember differently.

Wallace played tough tonight. I know a lot here don't rate him very highly but he's still young and getting better each year. There's a lot I like about his game and yes, there's room for improvement but I'd love to have him, Haas and Lodge in my team.

Wasn’t high or late. He was offside though.
