Granville tbf has been excellent for NQ the last few weeks as much as it pains me to say. I hate the greasy little shit!
It's the fucking hair, just cut it buddy.

Agreed though, he's actually been rather good for NQ the last few weeks.

Kodi every day of the week. He was brilliant in that role.

So many were hating on him. Never thought he deserved it. Would've loved to see him backing up Turpin. So glad he's landed on his feet at the Warriors, though.

Great defensive effort by the boys but we made it way too hard for ourselves. I'm happy to get the win, but we need to improve our execution in attack. Discipline was also lacking tonight, especially in the first half.

Jeez I wished we would stop relying on Milf so heavily and give Tommy Dearden the chance to take more control.
Jesus mate did you watch the game... Dearden was doing most of the kicking and there was a clear directive to give him more ball.

I wouldn't be surprised if he had more touches than Milf in that game

3. Haas - The bloke is the Terminator, seriously. He just doesn't stop. It's like he's running a V12 supercharged engine.
2. Milford - Broke the game open with his try and had a couple of superb kicks
1. Turpin - His tackling technique around the legs was dropping the Warriors big men all night and his service was gold.

I probably should go back and watch some previous games before shooting my mouth off, but it seems to me that at the play the ball Macca will generally be looking back waiting for instructions or some guidance, but Turpin will be scanning the defensive line in front of him a lot. He just seems to read more before acting. He certainly seemed to be doing it constantly against the roosters. Just an observation- could be wrong.

The big positive was that I never felt like the Warriors were going to score, not once. We're winning games on defense and that is a huge achievement.

The attack will come, our number 7 is basically a youngling from Revenge Of The Sith. He'll only get better. The same for Haas who is already destroying players 10+ years his senior.

2020 baby! It's going to be amazing.
Didn't those younglings all die!?

If Turpin can cut the penalties out, it would be great. His other areas are good, and will hopefully keep getting better too.

You aren't wrong. Turps shits all over Macca. Even the one thing we had reservations about-defence.....he shits all over him in that too.

He is doing a great job, but I just think Fifita would be better than him in that position. Fifita is really under-utilised in the middle.
This is my opinion, Fifita is absolute quality and has a huge huge future. At times he really shows his inexperience, I don't see anything wrong with Fifita coming off the bench, he learns and gains experience without the pressure of starting. He adds alot more versatility then Glenn, Yes he is more effective on the edge but he can play in the middle if needed. Glenn was huge tonight, his ability to defend and run quality lines was massive for us.

Most, if not all the games best backrowers have made their debut at the age of 20-22.

Let him learn from two quality backrowers in Gillo/Glenn and when it's his time to start and play bigger minutes, he will shine.

I cant believe the lack of love for Lexie. He made some huge runs at times when our forwards were getting pushed back. He has been ultra consistent this year to the point where i'd actually say he is our best performing back rower now. I thought Sua and Fifita would have pushed him out of the starting line up, but he just keeps performing.

I agree Glenn had his best game in a while. Seibold needs to workout a way to play Fafita more minutes

Dearden barely touched it in the opening 20 mins, the majority of our 5th tackle options go either through Milf or down his side. Dearden was getting more touches in the second half. We as a team seem wary of giving him too much responsibility which I guess is understandable. I do think if we show more faith in him he will not let us down.

Comparing this post game thread with the Rabbitohs one is great.

Its almost like we have a proper spine...
