Young broncs in feeder clubs

Fifita was talented at the tigers but it would be a very safe bet to say that he wouldnt have become what he has had he stayed there. They didn't put up a fight to keep him. Tedesco fair enough.. And Woods hahaha... So 1 in 15 years then? And its not as if they don't have a great district to get them from. The Campbelltown/Camden area is amazing for talent, look who they missed out on over the years. Folau and hayne are just 2 of the most obvious that spring to mind but there would be plenty over the years.
It's a bit harsh saying they missed Folau, he was living in Logan at the time.

He moved to logan at 15 years old, broncos give "scholarships" at 12 years old, he debuted at 17 years old where in that season he won rookie of the year and broke the try scoring record for a debutant in a season. At 18 years old he debuted for Australia. I'm guessing his talent was pretty obvious.... But it does't matter anyway, the talent and potential in that area is amazing. If they had a half decent development system they would be a powerhouse in the nrl...

O'Sullivan signed him in Toowoomba at the U15 Championships so if he did show skill and promise no one saw it.

Thats exactly what I'm pointing out. He lives an dplays in the west's tigers district and nearly immediately after moving he gets spotted. Not exactly a sign of a great development system... But again, one of many missed in the area by the tigers

Ye true, the broncos coach only helped Damien cook turn from a bench in-and-out of the team hooker to an Australian dally m 80 minute hooker... Whereas farah and Marshall helped develop.... Sorry, can you remind me who what dummy halves they have developed?.. And we're Marshall and farah the last 2 great players the tigers have developed in their system? When did they debut, 2002 or 2003? 15 years ago is that?
dream on mate Seibold walked in after all the work was done by madge

Is being mentored by Farah an endorsement? He has a history of being headstrong. That's one of the reasons why Siebs moved him on.
Yea could be worse I guess could be Macca

SQUAD REWARD FOR BRONCOS ROOKIE

The Broncos are set to reward boom rookie Xavier Coates for his man-of-the-match performance in the under-18 State of Origin with a place in their full-time squad next season.

Centre/winger Coates was a standout in the junior game, scoring a try and setting up several others in the Maroons’ 34-12 win.

The Broncos have signed Coates on a three-year deal and blooded the 18-year-old in a top grade trial against Souths Logan in February, where he looked right at home.

The teenager is playing in the Queensland Cup against grown men for Tweed Heads and looks to have a huge future in the game.

So Tony, a player you've never seen play, know nothing about but heard he did well in U18 might be included in the NRL squad in November.

He's played one ISC game too mate.

Truly enlightening reporting.

Coates has a massive challenge coming up in two weeks.

What might that be?

How the f*** do we lose Tanah Boyd and Walker in two consecutive days? Wtf is going on with this club? Constantly losing players and not signing anything!

Mate, you can't keep them all. We have obviously chosen Dearden as our long term halfback, you can't expect everyone to stick around.

I know but f***k me. Putting all our eggs in one basket IMO. We have so much depth of halves finally coming through.

You kinda have to do that. You can't just stockpile every young half that shows promise. You do what Melbourne does, pick one and develop them.

To be honest, that's what the Roosters are doing right now, they have like half a dozen of them.
