We're honouring the 1919 jersey, nice touch.

Payne Hass is going to rip Queensland a new one this Origin series, no doubt about it. I havent been this exciited about a player since Lockyer.

I hope we absolutely smash him out of the game personally. That goes for the rest of them as well.

The players have learnt about Thompson this week.

Bennett’s tribute.

Hodgo, Petero and Thurston are a good trio to have around camp.

Gavin Allen too. 12 months ago he needed a heart transplant.

What did he do to avoid having one then?

Predictions?

QLD by 7
Gagai First Try Scorer
DCE Man of the Match

I have so much to do today but it’s so hard to concentrate on SOO day. Bring it on! QLD by 4.

Mbye trained a bit at hooker on Sunday night but he also roamed around in a Hunt, Cronk, Morgan off the bench role. The average amount of tackles done by a hooker in Origin has been 48 over the last three years, that’s a lot of work for Hunt. Interesting to see how it drains him then to attack and run.

Queensland worked very hard on their left hand side attack which is obviously pivotal with Munter and Ponga but also in defence worked on their inside balls. The whole defensive session was spent defending and vocalising that ‘rails run.’

Jets were also told to offload at every chance, which they do anyway.
