Given that Souths are now going to be without Sam for 6 weeks or so, and Reynolds has fracture/s in the spine and is looking to be out for a few weeks, George is looking at a potential suspension and Cody Walker's confidence might have taken a hit after the SOO, are Souths about to be found out and start dropping down the ladder.

Two losses in a row. The SOO period may be very difficult for them?

They still have Wayne Bennett

You’d think so. Hard to win at the clip they were going for a whole season

They will bounce back.

The Origin period is going to be tough for them because there are a lot of disruptions, but once they get all of their players back and start to field the same 17 each week they will bounce back.

They will likely win the premiership this year. Maguire and Seibold put together a great squad and put good systems in place.

That wasn't the question though, it's whether or not they'll come back to the field. The answer is a resounding yes. They've lost another Burgess with Tom out for 4 weeks. They're light on for forward punch.

Well, the answer is yes.

They are still second on the ladder so currently the answer is not so far.
Yep. I've been wrong so many many times when it comes to rugby league. Of course it's all down to the great leadership, groundwork and systems put in by Mario Fench and Gorge Pigbins!

Oh I can't agree with that. It'll take an almighty effort to stop the Storm and Roosters having a repeat this year I reckon.

Frankly, I don't give a damn where they finish.

They won’t win the comp.

I actually hope the raiders do, they deserve it with the way Ricky has built their squad without needing the best of the best accountants to do so. I also like that the raiders actually invest in the game through jr pathways in the ACT instead of the parasitic activity of the ‘Melbourne’ storm or rorters.

EDIT: the rorters magically won't be a contender when Politis isn't around the club, nor will the storm when Smith retires and Bellamy is exposed (I still think Bellamy will retire with Smith after next year).
