So Palasia is making his debut? Or is he another I've missed when the babies played?ok, just checked, played against the guppies.

Our premiership tilt might start earlier than next year and it might have started three weeks ago. Glass very definitely half full.
Nursing a half chub here, too.

no, this will be his second game ... made his debut against the Sharks

I don’t want to go off early, as we obviously have to get past the Titans first, but I think we’ll roll the storm.

I can feel it in my waters.
Apparently Boyd is simmering in your water, he think we will get a title in two years......

so the way im seeing it we have second rowers Fifita, Glenn, Gillett, TPJ, Front row of Haas , Lodge & Joffa, and then locks Flegler, Patty and.....Kennedy..?

then you can rotate some of those between second row and lock....

Got a lot of options there....but i think right now we'd really struggle to match what Lodge and Haas give us if they are out for any reason....

Also it seems to me losing Glenn and Gillett over the next year or two leaves us short in the 2nd row...who is coming through the ranks in a year or two that can replace them.>??
Unless warriors offering Lexi big money for three years, I really don’t see him going anywhere else, an extension for 2 years can see him one club man at Broncos, I’m pretty sure even his last year he could be bench utility, hooker, center, second rower, forward.

For me, Gillet is sort of one step away from retirement, he’s not bad, but apparently he’s not matching his value, another serious injury could really see him retire.

So the starter should be Fifita and TPJ, Glenn a bench spot

Confirmation that Joffa is starting at Lock & TPJ has shifted to the right edge. I think there's a very strong argument that this should be our starting pack and is objectively the best one we can field

Haas, Lodge, Fifita, TPJ & Joffa.

Well, I dislike Parra but I'd love to see them win strongly tomorrow. If we can beat the Tits and Warriors lose we'll be in the eight with our fate in our own hands. Hopefully it happens that way and then I can imagine how fired up the boys will be to face Melbourne. These two games will define our season.

The right mindset is needed for the Titans game and the attitude to beat Melbourne will come without beckoning.

Does anyone else think there might me more going on with Gillo then just a groin strain.

A busted nose, a broken neck, groin strain, multiple shoulder surgeries, general wear and tear and maybe a nikorima “hamstring”?

He’s the better kicker until he misses. Then katoni is the better kicker up until he misses.
We have always had confidence kickers. If they got the first one or two, it settled their nerves and would be sweet for the rest of the game. I remember when parker or locky kicked, i always hoped that the first was next to the posts for an easy one.

Dearden has been running freely at training, will be 6.5 weeks post-operation by next weekend, good chance to return I reckon. Some interesting selection choices ahead.

1. Milford
2. Oates
3. Fifita
4. Staggs
5. Isaako
6. Boyd (c)
7. Dearden
8. Lodge
9. McCullough
10. Haas
11. Glenn
12. Gillett
13. Pangai Jr

14. Turpin
15. Ofahengaue
16. Flegler
17. Carrigan

Replace Boyd for a genuine 6 and Macca with Turpin, with Seggy being our impact player, that is a dangerous team

If the Warriors beat Parra and the Raiders beat the Panthers, we'll only be 1 point behind 6th place though. We can still overtake Warriors if our winning margin is 8 points greater than theirs too. I'm not counting on the Warriors to get the win, but if they do it could still be a positive result for us and puts us only 1 point outside of home final territory!
