Hope SoS has a lock on the halves spot for the rest of the year. He’s the only one who has any idea of how to use our back rowers. And we’ll need it against the eels.

Very limited structure tonight. Need a 5/8 that plays structure. We don’t have one in our roster.

We probably play the same roster as tonight, given our spine’s performance, we need quite a bit luck to beat eels

If I'm the coach, this is my 17 for the run home.

1. Isaako
2. Oates
3. Perese
4. Staggs
5. Farnworth
6. Milford
7. O'Sullivan
8. Lodge
9. Turpin
10. Haas
11. Fifita
12. Gillett (c)
13. Carrigan

14. Segeyaro
15. Glenn
16. Flegler
17. Ofahengaue

If you agree, you're more than welcome to forward my details to Paul White, I'm available for consultation and/or a full time coaching job for 2020 onward.

Excellent side and the best we can field at the moment.

I also wonder how Staggs would go at FB. I believe he has played there earlier on his career.

Isaako struggle to hang on to wing..... think maybe a Coates

Is Turpin back?

It’s funny how much more confident I feel going into games when TPJ is playing. Wish the twat would stop getting suspended because he has a huge influence on our squad

Looks like sharks are going to beat the warriors which will bump us down to eighth with 2 more teams only 1 point behind.
That makes this game a must win.

No. He's out for two weeks.

Mathematically, we can lose this game and still make the finals - but we'll be at the mercy of the Knights and Sharks also losing.

More realistically, the next two matches are must win.

Stop the opposition offloads. Late in the halves, offloads are killers . If Parra win it'll be through offloads.

I think he will. Because of his skills as a genuine half, Seibs can put in place shapes built around our back rowers running off him, and getting the ball wider as well.

So, that's 1 of 3 problems sorted. It leaves Dariu$$$ and Macca to cripple the potential of this star studded roster. It's not just that they are sod ordinary players, and can't see any other way of doing things, it's this fact which limits what shapes and structures Seibold can develop and implement.

Their ordinariness is entrenched. Macca couldn't conceive of playing any differently to how he does, and Dariu$$$ is simply unable to grasp the meaning of what it is to be an attacking 5/8 like say, Foran and Keary.

Sigh. The team is strangled by their ordinariness both by what they offer, and the limiting consequences to the game plan.

For mine, Milf returning to 5/8 would solve some major issues and maybe, just maybe, we/would could play much more attractive and effective footie in spite of Macca.

I really hope the club is enquiring about getting Foran on a discount contract. He’s injured a lot but the way he would structure and straighten up our attack, his added kicking game, and his composure and leadership would be the missing link this team needs. I’d trade Macca, Boyd, and Bird for Foran any day.
