NRL 'fix team' need to keep their hands off the Parra game.

speaking of "fixing" ... Gould has mentioned at least twice that i know of for the Sharks and Tigers should have a handshake agreement to go for the draw if we lose tomorrow.

he said it on 100% footy to Gallen on Monday and i heard him today on 4bc say the same thing.

this is the reason why the NRL should have been smarter and changed the time slots for our match and the sharks/tigers game ... so that the Sharks/Tigers played first ... it would avoid the appearance of a fix in the slim chance there is a draw between the Tigers and Sharks

Conspiring to fix a game and even suggesting it on a public forum such as radio or tv should be punished accordingly. Especially when it’s coming from a well known figure of the game. It’s not even a funny joke and it would definitely plant the seed for some people.

Yeah, playing the Eels is a big worry. Playing any team you beat a short while ago is tough, they always lift.

This game is now significantly more important.

Win and we play the injury and suspension decimated Manly, lose and we play the fully healthy Parra at Bankwest.

Dogs are gonna be chomping at the bit to ruin our day, we cannot let that happen. Get over the top of them in the forwards early then STAY on top of them. They have just about as much as us in the spine but our backs make theirs look stupid. If we can eat up the metres, we'll find the points to win.

Don't need a slaughter, don't need any stupid theatrics. Just get the job done, ugly if necessary.
