A player will be sued one day for unnecessarily and seriously injuring another player. That's what it's going to take for the game to stamp this kind of shit out. The NRL are forever reactive.
 
Croft should not be asking huge money. If he is around 500k or less I think he is worth a punt. Gives us time to develop Dreaden some more.

Croft and Milf could work well. People claiming he is another Nikorima are just being silly. All we need now is a fullback. Thats the investment I think. We need somebody back there that can provide a pass and a real attacking threat. Here is to hoping we can find it or Bird stays and is given a shot.

In hoping whoever we sign is only for a couple of years,Croft too. Let Dearden come along and bring Walsh in a few years, he looks fantastic and has all the tricks with his kicks, passing and footwork and should be our future fullback.

That's a good combo to start with and atleast its a signing that actually fills a void that we need. A half that has a kicking game and can guide the team around and at 22, Croft has plenty of years in front of him.

Croft isn't much of a kicker though, Smith and Munster do majority.

What's with smoking the cool aid on this forum about croft. If we seriously have got croft, it shows how much more of a basket case recruitment and retention are at this fucking club. HE IS NOT WHO WE NEED. We are after a genuine EXPERIENCED halfback not some storm reject who lets face it is shit. If bellamy can't get the best out of him and is happy for him to leave there generally is a reason why. Generally when players leave the storm and go elsewhere they are often more exposed and are proven to be duds.

He can easily be our long term halfback, as long as he's not signed on stupid money or for too many years, he could easily be one of our best ever signatures. A genuine halfback is what we have needed for far too long. He doesn't even need to be a superstar in his own right, he just has to have a good kicking game, know how to execute a game plan and a bit of a brain. From what I've seen, he has all those things.

As long as we're not paying stupid money, this is an excellent signing if it eventuates.

I've gone cold on Brodie Croft. Specifically, he's defence is shite. Next to MILF who is a poor defender himself, I can see lots of points being leaked between those 2 amigos. Opposition Scout Report: Target your runs towards the Broncos' halves

If the price is below and not overs I would sign Croft for 2 years. If he fails then we can enter market again as atm there is no premier 7 we can go after. I would put Croft at 7 I don't see him as a 6 but more of an organiser, u wouldn't putCronk at 6. Deardon still needs some time in Qldcup. Milf for me is now a 6 who needs a game management 7 next to him to fulfil his potential. He doesn't have the work ethic and know how to be a premier 1 like Teddy and Tom. Holmes at 1 is great if it happens but if not i would put Bird at FB if he stays. Still unsure about Isaako at 1. We need a ball playing 1.
