Reward your mediocre season with a contract extension
He should go to the dragons
They are good at doing that

4 year deal?

Nah, not mad with this but it should be a huge wake up call with Boyd n Co. There needs to be a lot more detail put in to contracts especially for aging players.

Honestly not sure how I feel about this. He made the necessary call with Bennett, but everything about the past 24 months has been an utter disaster. To sign on to a new deal without proving you're moving to make up for that is pretty bald faced in my view.

Personally think he deserves 10 years in the job, holistically he has done a lot of good for the club but certainly responsible in part for a lot of what hasn't either...

Are you fucking kidding me? With him at CEO with have missed the finals twice, crowed numbers have dropped, and the club is in arguably the worst state it has ever been. The bloke is fucking useless.

Really? I find this surprising? What were our numbers of crow before his tenure and what are our crow numbers now?

Financially speaking, which is primarily what his role deals with, it's actually never been in a better state.

I'm inclined to say this is good news, but it's easy to see why other people may feel otherwise.

Personally, I think the CEO's primary job is to balance the books and make the best use of our resources by putting in the best systems and personnel possible.

In the positive column:

In a financial sense, everyone is aware I'm sure that he's delivered considerable surpluses and has given us the strongest revenue streams we've ever enjoyed, some miles ahead of any other NRL club. He's been able to very effectively leverage corporate and government relationships to deliver record sponsorship deals and government funding to build some of the best footballing facilities anywhere in the country.

In the negative column:

The jury is still very much out of his ability to recruit and manage personnel. I say the jury is out because I think when he re-signed Wayne Bennett, no one could argue it made perfect sense and seemed a master stroke. He obviously gave Wayne quite a lot of control over the football side and I think it's fair to say some of that has come back to bite us, but it's hard to argue that he wasn't making good decisions putting that much control and trust in Bennett, the most decorated Coach in the game and someone who knew the footballing side of the Broncos business better than anyone.

I think he also deserves respect for biting the bullet and firing Wayne, which would have been extremely difficult given the pair were famously close both prior and during their working relationship at the Broncos. Credit to Paul White for having the stones to pull the trigger. Only a genuinely strong CEO would have done that.

He missed Bellamy, which I consider to be a huge mistake. Money should have been no object so something clearly went wrong and he in my opinion should be largely accountable for that.

Now we have Seibold, and it remains to be seen how that will work out, but I think a huge part of White's legacy now rests in his Coach's hands. It's fine to grow our revenue and be a financial powerhouse, but if we are unable to use that money to recruit and manage the absolute best in the business without our football department, then I think that will ultimately count against his record overall.

Fairly steady decline the past few years. 2015 was high because premiership run and extra finals games made for larger average crowd. Basically, it was on it's way up before he got there, and for the most part has trended down since he got there.

We missed the finals once and our average total crowd attendance is better than it's ever been. 375,666 under Cullen. 386,466 under White.

Have you looked at their stock price?

Sorry, I thought he was there in 2010. I don't think you can count Cullen's crowds, the game as a whole was considerably smaller then and actually had competition from Union. Cullen's last 5 years were better than White's last 5 years. We hadn't had an average under 30k since 2004. We had one in 2019.

And there are outside factors today that have an impact on crowd numbers. If you're going to count all of the crowd attendances under White, then you have to count every other CEO's numbers.

You can't pick and choose which ones you want to count or not.

Okay then,

Well here is a handful of clubs results the last few years
20152016201720182019
Broncos3359533692313943123429516
Raiders962912183140391186214864
Sharks1192514578129531270012224
Knights1589114457156191897419052
Storm1345318079183751729318230
League AVG1507415214149191526015030

Most clubs experience a bit of up and down due to schedules etc. But there's no fighting the fairly consistent trend in reduction for the broncos. The league average fell by 1.5% in 2019. The broncos average fell by 5.5%. You can't deny that.

Thursday nights don't help the crowd numbers either
They don't, but with that logic you would then likely expect to see an increase on the Friday night games that we do have, as people who havent been able to go to the Thursday games would be more inclined to attend a Friday night. This didn't occur. Even clashes that have historically been close to sellouts against Cowboys and Storm were well short this year.

Like the accountant said - ‘I’m here to tell you what happened yesterday' that's yesterday’s news. Like the Pud said numbers were dropping and 58 blot didn’t help.
He would, and should, be concerned about membership and sponsorship going forward.
I expect a solid membership drive being planned and he could start by answering some of the questions put forward here regarding next years squad. I fear though he might not have those answers as perhaps a CEO of a well run place would.
In saying that I do accept and congratulate him on keeping us profitable but wish a bit of that side spills out onto the field Once in a while.
