So Milford wanting to play his own way, having at least one kicking session with Locky amongst others working on different aspects of his game, and indicating he's always open to advice becomes, through the transmogrifying effect of the internet, Locky offered to help out Milford who refused through sheer arrogance or laziness.

Yes you're right, he actually did kick the first 20/40 (which itself speaks to our lack of field position) but we got dudded.

yeh...we asked so much of Carrigan.....i mean he walks into pre-season and was told "your a senior player now, go and lead"....but unless someone comes in as an acknowledge leader its between him and Haas i reckon...they play the most minutes out of the forwards...

So, who replaces Glenn, dunno really....Alfie..?...he is on the field enough...

Id give a awful lot to hear what Alf thought about the side this year....

Like, does ALf even connect with these guys anymore? is it simply a job for him instead of a passion?

Did anyone on that roster ask him for help to turn things around?....i would love to hear from the little legend..

We are all couch coaches on here, although a number of us are very, very good students of the game (not me). What we couch coaches have though is context: history and memories, of what works and what doesn't, or simply, look at 2015 and 2020 and you get a good idea of what makes a good team and what makes one shit.

I dont think anyone asked for help cos the majority seemed like they couldnt care less....maybe alex glenns best is way behind him now....theyve still got croft who got handed the "C"....
Alfie is my favorite player of all time and even he looks lost out there as there dont seem to be much talking or giving two *****....

Haha yeah would be good to know alfies thoughts ....theres no connection ...seems to be a couple groups and then a few going solo...alex glenn at one stage was going to be moved on then next minute hes captain!!! ....then theres croft who was a success....
With one of the worst if not worst spine in the comp , no onfield leadership, deadwood and not much available on the market etc..could be a while for return to finals😂

Just out of interest about Milford's kicking game, and how he developed it, maybe read these. I just hope under Walters, he regains and restores what he learned, into consistent performances.

and in those 5 yrs the game has changed and the rules......but the rules change several times a game😳
 
If Milford could consistantly get kicks from their 40 meter line instead of our 40 meter line then his bombs are some of the most dangerous in the game. We don't get out of our half for the majority of our sets this year which is going to make anyones kicking game look worse than it is.

Thanks . i just read them and i admit im wrong....i think maybe because hes looking like dont want to be out there....as far as the kicking i was thinking he does bugger all to force re starts....which when your forwards are going backwards the kicking game almost becomes void...
Ps. It might not sound it but id love to see milford regain the form he once had like many others on here.....the last couple seasons been frustrating watching him....**** you seibold😂

Every fan is obligated in my view to get behind Kev and forget about this nonsense regarding his record in Super League and even his record in Origin. The man clearly has a huge task ahead of him turning the place around, and one benefit he can be thankful for is his connections to the Rugby League media, who I fully expect will be giving him a tonne of rope before they start thinking about hanging him with it. That's just how those cretins operate; if you have connections, they will leave you alone (at least for awhile). If you don't, watch out. Thankfully for us that means the club as a whole gets a bit of breathing space to let Walters do what he thinks he needs to do, and I dearly hope those at the top actually allow him to do that.

Hopefully....we havent got to see it yet....hes getting no protection and getting hammered as he kicks....it was the panthers or eels game...maybe both....they were offside all night he was hammered pretty much as he got the ball....play on!!🙄
