Pre-season

We need to make finals, this will help us retain and get better players as well, people get flakey around shit teams.

Not enough Walsh 😣

pretty close to our round 1 team IMO ... only changes i potentially see are Herbie in for Arthars/Nui and maybe TPJ to the front row with Asiata to start.

Milford in for Croft if he is fit

Aside from Walsh, Staggs and Haas, it is basically the best team they could have put out. No, I haven't forgotten Milford.

This looks very close to what our full strength team would look like imo.

Interesting to see how it looks with Haas back. I love the idea of TPJ starting at lock and Asiata coming off the bench.

Not sure if you noticed but Oates is in there, good to see a quick recovery for once.

You’re probably right.

The hype around Walsh is fair, he seems like a great prospect. But it would likely be unfair / risky to throw him to the wolves just yet.

After all, the 2021 Broncos team he’s coming in to is a far stretch from the 2004 Broncos team Hunt came into.

Pretty much what our team will look like round 1, very interested to see how the Turpin/Paix rotation will work.

Herbie and Milford recovering from injuries.

Sorry force of habit that Oates is out. Interesting to note no back up hooker int the top 17...is Turpin really being backed to play 80 or is this due to a certain Cameron S ...no that’s too obvious let’s call him C Smith.

not to mention he's a development player as well. from the small sample size, he has the potential to be a 10 year fullback for us, if we handle him right.

so, i'm certainly happy for as to keep him on a development contract for 2021 (lock him up tight for the next few years) ... give him the first few months in the ISC to develop his game, then at round 13 (when we can play our development players without restriction) we re-evaluate.

IMO, Isaako can do a job for us as a stop gap until Walsh is ready to be thrown into the deep end

Probable deserves it's own thread but Parker punted from the coaching staff. I'd be interested in the reasons.

Always been tension/strangeness between those two. Kevvie picked Richards to be 18’s coach and CP thought he had the gig.
The comments makes it seem like news is almost 2 months old? Parker says he didn’t return after Christmas.
