I think it’s a huge problem. He’s the guy the club is entrusting to turn things around and 4 rounds in he’s already looking out of depth. Not based on results but on decisions.

Well that's an issue with any team/new coach, if things don't work out you've wasted a few years. And your best players may leave in the process. At the end of the day though, I'm not sure any coach outside of Bennett/Robinson/Bellamy could've turned them around in such a short time. Bench management isn't a problem when your team is winning. It's just amplified when we're losing.

The halves? I think he's doing everything he fucking can to milk whatever Milf has left in the tank. I guess that means Dearden and Croft get fucked over in the process. Armchair psyching this pov, but I think Kev thinks that Dearden and Croft may have some resilience so he's giving them a tougher challenge. If Milf gets dropped I doubt you'd ever see him in first grade again because I think the fire has completely gone in him. What do you do with a million dollar dud? (drop him of course).

I don’t know where to start, there’s not a lot they are doing well. But they aren’t going to get any better until Kevvie makes a decision about his halfback and backs it, no more having one of them sitting on the bench to play the last 10mins of a game that’s already over.

How can he expect the side to have confidence & certainty about what they are trying to do when the coach doesn’t?

Dearden hasn’t shown a lot, but he’s the best we’ve got, but he won’t improve & gain confidence to start steering this side around with Croft sitting on the bench and Kevvie changing his mind with every bowel movement.

They need a week in the sandpits with Ryan too, some of the first contact is awful and just puts soo much stress on the whole line.

Not only is Kevvie picking the wrong 17, he is interchanging them horribly. What was the point of bringing Dearden off with 10 to go?

The only positive to come out of tonight was our middle. We normally leak easy breaks through the middle, the only one I recall was when Benji went through from that good Latrell offload. The edges are a fucking joke. Glenn, Riki, Niu and Kennar all defending like spastics. Meads last 2 weeks have been worse than anything Oates dished up last year, at least when Oates runs way infield out of position he makes the tackle.

I can remember two power sets where they marched up field and decided to run hard but for some reason every other set we made 20-30m it’s so embarrassing ... then we get into the attacking zone and it’s a shambles and ya just wait for the likes of Tom flegler to drop it .... let me remind you that he’s is on 650k a year to... then Croft comes on for 10mins god knows why ??? The forwards don’t go forward but we got a halfback on the bench ?? If all else fails we will kick it to Coates and hope for the best..So dumb and hard to watch ... losing my patience...

Kevin Walters needs a fucking rocket jammed up his ass. Why the **** is he persisting with croft on the bench? Our forward rotation is shit house. Milford is shit house, Glenn is toast, Lodge is undercooked, Haas looks out of energy mentally, Kenner doesn't cut it as a starter.....i didn't think thing's could get worse.

KW is going okay in the press conferences so far. He says he thought we'd be better or at least further along but we are okay in parts. I know Milford has some ability and if he keeps earning his stripes defensively he might just come back into some form.

Yeah, Croft showed a quality kicking game when he came on

You've just got a 7 tackle set.
You're on the half way line and have the defence is on the back foot, its the second (could have been third) tackle.
Even if you only make 10 meters in the next 2-3 tackles you're still on the opposition 40 and have the chance for a semi attacking kick.
Whats your next move?
Obviously go for an early kick because the defence aren't already retreating and you have a brilliant kicking game and an even better chase and show great ability to hold the opposition in their own 20...

I didn't watch the game closely so am not commenting on Milfs game tonight, but it's at the point no matter what he does, he gets criticised on this forum.
