All our team can defend, they're just disorganised. That's one thing we'll be better at next week when Patty returns. I thought Ezra (along with Oates) was our best player tonight but probably our worst defender. He was better with Gamble and Carrigan telling him what to do.

Did I or did I not say that it is his first year here and that he's had some good games but should be depth? Re-read if you missed it. Turpin on his own merits and abilities, is the second worst player in the NRL. The worst player is currently out with a broken finger. But my comments aren't about him. They are about Turpin... I wouldn't pick him in ISC.... his passing game is worse than under 12s and he can't run.....

I wouldn't drop Billy yet. He's more useful and has had more impact this year than Turpin. He's less shit. But that doesn't mean we don't need a gun 9.. we absolutely do.
