FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

Arsenal needed that result. They needed to forget about the FA Cup and just focus on the League title.

Now that they're out of the FA Cup, they can focus on winning the league now. But IMO they need to focus more on their defence. In their match against Man United, there were a number of opportunities for United to get Rashford or Antony in behind the defence and get 1-on-1 with the keeper but they kept stuffing up the pass. They have some tough matches in the run home, their defence needs to be better.

Nice goal from Casemiro.

It takes a slight deflection, but still nice. Casemiro has really stepped up in the past couple of months, especially since the resumption of the PL.

Watch us get Manchester City in the Round of 16.

Leicester City have signed Harry Souttar.

Eriksen out for a couple of months with an ankle injury.

United have signed Marcel Sabitzer on loan for the remainder of the season.

Not a bad pick up, we needed another midfielder with Eriksen out until late April/early May. He brings a lot of experience.

another window without a mid, meanwhile all and sundry are signing players left right and centre.

it'd be hilarious if bellingham went elsewhere in the summer.

Shocked at Cancelo leaving City. I'm sure there's been a few others, but can't think of a quicker fall from grace. From one of the first names on the team sheet to don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Man United taking on Newcastle in the EFL Final after their 2-0 win (5-0 aggregate) against Nottingham Forest.

Hopefully they continue their good form and win the final. It's only the EFL but winning some silverware will give the confidence a good boost. It was a goal of Ten Hag to win some silverware in his first season and he now has a chance to achieve that.

The charges against Greenwood have been dropped.

His profile is back up on the club's site, but I can't see him playing again this year especially with the stance Ten Hag has taken since taking over as manager. I think Man United will look to offload him in the next transfer window.

Arsenal losing to Everton could be costly in the long run...

That's a fucking handball.

This has to be a penalty for Man United.

And Bruno scores.

5 minutes in and United up 1-0.

And Liverpool just conceded an own goal in their match against Wolves lol

14 minutes in and Liverpool down 2-0 against Wolves.

What's going on?

Jeez how did Weghorst not score there?!
