Home from the game and watching the replay and the Cowboys have turned into a bunch of grubs. It’s pretty disgusting tbh.

I feel like we have always had a healthy respect for each other but that is all gone. That hit was atrocious from Drinkwater and neither him or any Cowboy gave a shit that Oates was fucked.

Todd Payten has turned that team into a bunch of grubs. Whoever said in the live chat that he is a gun has to be kidding themselves. Not only has he coached the players to be dirty he was completely out coached by Walters, a guy that (unfairly) gets shit put on him non-stop.

Agreed - I've always liked the rivalry with the Cows because it was tough and they played well.

After that, cows can royally get fucked. They were out to hurt our players and be grubs all night. I have zero faith the MRC will give these DOGS what they have coming. They were kept in the game so hard by Klein - if he blew the whistle for half the shit they were doing tonight we'd have been camped at their end all game. Soured the win for mine. Absolute dogs.

They are the grubbiest team in the comp without doubt. It all gets overlooked though because they are the media’s darling.

I was very impressed with the boys tonight, they had a very rough start to the game, but hung in and proved what power house they can be. Walsh 100% perfect in his debut match and I think he will only improve. Mam is starting to come into his own with his game and him and Walsh will make a terrific combination, with Reynolds support. Riki, Haas, Farnthworth and Carrigan were all terrific and started the year 10/10. Im done with Billy Walters I cant handle his mediocrity. Yes he made a few good plays but that doesn't make up for the rest of his terrible play. We are truely building something special here and if the confidence stays high the premiership is just around the corner.

The speed of Walsh, Mam and Herbie will tear teams apart this year on the left. Oates is a big loss as he's another threatening option with a long ball and he attracts players when running a inside line like the Herbie no try.
Once the right clicks like last year we will be hard to stop on both sides of the field.
Having a player like Arthur's linking with Walsh and herbie will ensure we get on the outside of defenders. I think it will work well without Oates, even though he's a massive loss.

For record keeping, Townsend broke Oatesy's jaw. They sin binned the wrong bloke, even video ref got it wrong. Townsend better get get canned by the judiciary, deadset got away with murder.
They all got him high. It was Drinkwaters shoulder that turned Oates head nearly 180. If his head still facing the right way I think he scores that.

Reece Walsh. Holy hell, that was better than peak Milford.

That's the most electric performance from a Bronco since I can remember.
Fullback is the most important position in the modern game, Walshy proved that.

Our backs right now are honestly Goated, it's scary when we lose Gary but have Arthurs who is a completely different player after his warriors stint to come in to replace him, also something you have to Credit Kevvie for having him at 18, which is basically part of the first team squad now given the new rules.

Was busy playing trains, so avoided the score and have just finished watching it.

Haven't read through the thread yet, but here's some observations:

- Huge amount of character on display from this team, something that's sorely been lacking for the past few years. It was a bloody tough start to the match, but we got ourselves back into it and then went on to dominate for a large portion of the game. After that late try, the Cowboys found life, but we weathered the storm and quickly took back the ascendency.

- Reece Walsh is a lot better than I remember! What an incredible way to debut for your new (old) club. He was absolutely electric - he can fashion chances out of absolutely nothing with this agility and footwork, not to mention his ball-playing ability. A couple of his passes were a bit dodge (ie too low), but you can see the intent and the idea. He's a natural, and already has outstanding game smarts for such a young bloke. It didn't result in a try, but I especially loved that play from around 10m out from the Cows' line, where in one fluid motion he caught the ball and then grubbered for himself, with the perfect amount of weight on the kick. That was an elite show of skill in my book. This kid is a game-breaker.

- Defence was excellent. Yes, we conceded more points than last week, but for the most part, the Cowboys didn't look likely at all. We had them covered across the park. Even when it looked like we were out on our feet, we held it together. That's what you want to see.

I 100% agree about Arthur's, he's a great backup and honestly if Staggs stinks it up I wouldn't be against dropping him for Arthur's. We lucky to have a quality player like Arthur's to slot straight in the wing and even though it hurts to lose Oates, I don't think we'll suffer much from it.

Your a train **** like me lol what role you doing?

Okay i have to correct myself. After watching the replay in slow-mo, Drinkwater's shoulder collects Oate's jaw before Townsends arm comes into play.

I actually thought townsend copped a head shot the way he fell in that same tackle tbh

isn't that the goated job?
I'm in Sydney and everyone here talks about how good the money is for QLD rail, intercity runs miss most of the bullshit too.

I love it, a lot more enjoyable than when I was on the suburban - too many bloody stations! But yeah, the money in Qld and Vic is way better than what we earn here in NSW. By some amount too.

You should give it a go mate! They're always looking for drivers.

Anyway, back on topic haha.
