I dont really see it from the refs. I think all teams get dudded equally by them. But the mrc and judiciary are one big joke where who you are and play for counts big time.

I'm not so sure about a conspiracy, but it does seem the more successful or 'en-vogue' teams get more favourable decisions both on and off the field.

It seems to be an issue across multiple sports, not just rugby league.

Happens in the workplace too. There is no independence, it's a big boys club. It will always lead to the rat shit behaviour and bias you see in the NRL.

I don't see it either, I think we get what we deserve and you can look at that in a positive or negative way.

It's obvious that a lot of fans genuinely believe there is some anti-Bronco conspiracy though.

The simplest explanation is one of entitlement and poor sportsmanship, attempting to appeal to the conceit of victimhood. It's how the criminal class talked about their teachers, and then the police. Any BHQer who wants to push this low mental energy meme deserves universal ridicule.

The NRL is not that organised and people aren't that tight-lipped to pull any sort of anti Bronco conspiracy off. It's just easier for people to blame someone or something else for our failings.

What’s the argument claiming there is no conspiracy? And again, those claiming there isn’t are also those claiming the Broncos coach has systematically targeted anyone in the way of his own son.

I'll put my tin foil hat on for a second. Maybe about 5 years ago watching a broncos game and they just scored so the ref had to blow his whistle for a try. He was legit disappointed and had a look of disgust on his face just before he awarded it. I waited for the replay the next day on the website and seen it was edited out with a cut to the crowd instead. I've always been a bit iffy on ref and now bunker calls since then.

Waiting for tonight's game, usually the ref's look at everything 100x before they give us tries but this year has been cruisey so far. If they check everything then I reckon they want the dolphins to win.

I was convinced there was some shenanigans when they introduced the 6 again and we got demolished by them in the first game of the season, only to have them dramatically reduced for every other game after that.

This led me down a rabbit hole that "they" needed us to fail so fans would switch to the new Brisbane team.
All silly of course, but a tiny part of me still believes it.

The Broncos are owned by the biggest media organisation in the country. You would think that if there was any conspiracy to dud its team then there would be stories galore, because it would be the biggest fucking scoop in the history of Australian sport.

Reason for differences in officiating, judiciary? People. Interpretations and errors are made all the time because that's what humans do. You honestly think that there is some secret ploy amongst the rugby league community to keep the Broncos down? Every team gets dudded.
*Dolphins with Kaufusi.
*Cam Smith getting rubbed out for the 08 GF.
*Raiders getting shafted in the GF
*Cowboys getting screwed by a 7 tackle set try against the Sharks.

Is there conspiracies against those clubs too????

It's honestly crazy, and I pity people who think there's some BS conspiracy against the Broncos. You're lives must suck.
