The penalty against Kotoni also for touching the player before he got the ball was weird. Pretty sure DWZ did the same to Herbie on his first try and nothing was said (probably because he scored). If Herbie doesn't score, is DWZ penalised for tackling without the ball?

Payne is a million miles better than Leota.

JFH is way better than Flegler too. A better comparison would be Haas/JFH and Flegler/Leota which I think pretty much balances out as close to even if you compare forward pairings.

I would say our starting middles are very close. Obviously I feel broncos are better but I’m trying to account for bias.

I think the most important factor for next week though is not how they line up on paper, it's how the line up at kick off. With this I mean who is carrying what injury? Who is playing the most busted as you can be sure that they are all carrying some sort of niggle. It will really depend on who wants it the most on Sunday and who is prepared to go past that pain barrier for the 80 minutes.

All six are tried and tested hard men. It should be an absolute humdinger of an open 20 minutes and then some.

I think experience and 4 years of almost perfect dominance rightly puts Penrith as favourites. Broncos really have to be pretty much perfect. If they throw the ball around like last night it really needs to stick every single time.
Whatever happens, making it this far is a huge success and even if the Broncos lose hopefully the success of the season snowballs over to 2024 the way the Panthers snowballed after losing to the Storm in 2020.

You'd have to think we'd be wearing our away strip like we did in week one.

Fair to say that Penrith have been more consistent this year. But Warriors capitalised on every mistake that the Broncs made tonight and we still won be 30. We are the LAST team that the Panthers want to face.

I'm not so sure they have. We have been just as consistent. Thats why we finished with the same amount of points.

Normally I would agree completely about Payne, but last night he was running with an intensity that I have never seen from him before. JFH is still more aggressive overall though.

I still dont think he's got the same kind of intensity or physicality JFH has, and thats fine because while it would help his game if he did, he has other attributes JFH doesnt have that makes him the player he is. I really dont think its something he's every going to develop either tbf because its not his style.

Maybe as well, if he upped his intensity he wouldnt be able to play the long stints he is capable of either. Its good from our perspective we have a good balance in our pack who can all do different things to compliment each other.

When Bill scored the 1st try I thought it had all gone wrong . I saw Flegler coming , then Billy is in goal . I thought Flegler must have knocked on . Then it dawned on me Billy has fcking scored WTF !?

JFH is way better than Flegler too.

I`d debate that .
JFH doesn`t offload like Fleggie .JFH is not a ranga . JFH doesn`t hit like Flegler .
