POST GAME 2023 NRL Grand Final - Penrith vs Brisbane

Absolutely gutted. I think this hurts more than 2015. In saying that, so proud of the boys. Under the pump massively in the first half to turning it around 180 degrees to having one hand on the trophy. Big lesson there. Need to play 80 mins against the best. Hopefully they use that and come back for redemption next season.

I think we need a strong, experienced, reliable defender on that left side to replace Herbie tbh even if its just for 12 months. Not sure either Cobbo or Mariner at this moment in time are ready. Capes does have the odd bad miss in him so a bit more starch there would help. Cant think of many experienced centers available right now.

We should give Oppa a call

Bro this is cope, we were winning 24-8 in a grand final. That is game over.

And they had Luai and Yeo off the field lmao.

It hurts but it is one of the biggest chokes any of us will ever see.
Losing a grand final by 2 points is still the best we've done since 2015, when we lost by 1 point.

It was like a car crash in slow motion, you could see it coming, our line speed was terrible, we held back and waited for Penrith to come to us instead of applying any pressure whatsoever, and that’s up 16pts with 20mins left! Make no mistake about it, we had the game won and we threw it away. It was a complete capitulation.

I come in peace from the Warriors forum 🙏

My condolences on the loss. I was punching the air after Mam scored 3, really thought it was your night. Unfortunately league is a cruel game at times.

Your boys will be better for this. You've got an absolute gun side. See you all next season ✌️

Losing Herbie and Flegler really does look like it's going to be huge. They were probably in the top 6 players tonight. They need instant quality replacing ASAP before Reynolds retires.
