Amorim offering to walk away from the job without a pay off if he isnt wanted. I reckon he's heard he isnt getting backed by their clown owners and is happy to get out.

I have a feeling this guy is waiting in the wings.

United for relegation then.. wonder how much that is paying 🤔🤔

I can genuinely see it happening. Sir Jim is a massive fan of his for some weird reason.

I dont think they would go down, but if they are as broke as they reckon they are, i think they could be down the bottom again. If Fernandes had got injured this season for any length of time i think it would have been close for them. If he leaves for Saudi, i wouldnt have much faith in their recruitment at all to replace him.

Its incredible that Wolves have only played well for half a season and we look like we are going to finish above the likes of United and Spurs. Keep saying it, but cant wait for Cunha to end up there.

I didn't think it could get much worse than Glazers owning the club, but a combo of Glazers and Rat appears to be sending the club into relegation battles

Its disgusting really they are apparently going to lay off another 200 staff. They are targeting the wrong people.

I know its a small thing, and superficial, but there's a clip of SAF seeing Rio and Scholes at the Stadium in Bilbao, and Fergie instantly says something to Rio about his jacket. It's nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it speaks to the standards the club used to have of itself and its players and the level of respect players had for the manager.

Fergie was always big on appearance, so that sorta thing wouldn't be new between he and Rio, and I'm by no means saying if we bring in a dress code performances will suddenly improve, but the standards of the club, owners and players couldn't be worse. What's accepted and what isn't accepted. The performance in the final was bad enough, the interviews the players gave after were even more embarassing, not to mention the tears on the pitch at FT.

We've got 20 year olds popping off on socials already for not playing in the final to agitate a move too(He might well be right, he should have played and Mount was shit, but we can't have players thinking that's okay).

State of the club is appalling.

If the club lets Amorim walk or doesn't back him after the way they brought him in... we deserve Southgate.

I dont actually think they have the funds to back Amorim or sack him. Ratcliffe said their financial projections were based on them getting champions league and a top 6 finish. Not getting either has apparently cost the club around 160 million. The other report i read reckons they are going to have to pay off the likes of Rashford, Sancho and Antony to leave the club. They know other teams wont pay their inflated wages ( those 3 alone are on over 52 million a year combined).

I really dont get how the Glazers and Ratcliffe have let a club that has the earning potential United have to become such a mess financially.

I hope Ange leaves Spurs, his style needs freedom to sign players for his style of play, Spurs are way too tight ass under Levy, sure they have more money than Celtic did but when your signing players for the quality of the competition they are way worse.

I'm baffled that United fans want Amorim to stick around.

The guy is tactically inept. There are no excuses for where United are in the ladder or how he lined that side up for the final. Moyes has done a better job in half a season at Everton, Glasner did a better job in his first 6 months at Palace, Vitor Pereira has done the same at Wolves, even look at West Ham and Potter.

None of these managers asked for their own squads, they adapted their tactics to suit the players available and then coached them to being better.

Bruno and Amorim both need to go. Anyone who wants them both to stay simply wants to club to continue to destroy itself. It's utterly embarrassing that people think the manager deserves a transfer window, let alone that little rat deserving to captain the side for another season.

Wirtz to Liverpool noise is getting louder...

Yep, player has agreed personal terms and also informed Leverkusen he wants to leave to LFC.

Just a matter of the clubs agreeing the deal which should be a formality.

I still think there's going to be another big move or two for us. Very excited to see what happens at striker.

Well done Sunderland. Proper football club with great support. Glad to see them back in the top flight.

Cunha done deal. Fee will be paid in installments.

Garnacho, Shaw, Onana and several others told they can go elsewhere.

Italian clubs want Hojlund. Going by reports, what they're offering will pretty much cover the remaining installments so we won't get anything from it.

United being offered £100 million for Bruno from Saudi. Amorim doesn't want to sell him but we need to.

That, on top of the Garnacho money and the money we get from Carreras joining Madrid, Amorim will be able to bring in players he needs. Several other sales very likely, but not guaranteed. I think it will take another summer transfer window to get rid of everyone that Amorim wants to get rid of.

You can tell the likes of Shaw and Onana to go all you want, but someone has to buy them and they need to agree to go... they have high paying contracts, so why would they leave for less money?

Will they be able to bring players in?

I read that Jimmy boy just sacked another lot of staff, and you lot had to pay a sizeable fee to Adidas for not qualifying for the Champions League.

Sounds like times are tough.
