That's what happens when you drop to a 2 man bench for 60 mins. They knew they had to manage their workload to see out the game. Not rocket science.
Yeah, sorry I worded it poorly. I meant that 20 minute burst at the start of the game would've been good.

Reynolds expected to miss 3-4 weeks. Honestly not bad. If Mam is alright, we can get by until finals. We should really win 3/4..
Mam and Cobbo apparently out for the season. They’re done for the year, & so is the team in a few weeks.

What’s the injury for mam? He’s had a few leg related injuries now.

Crazy that Reynolds is the lowest on that list... Cobbo's looked the worst, but Ezra walked up the tunnel
I agree, and it looked like Ezra was going to try and run it out too. + Madge's comments, damn. Not sure there have been any examples of players recovering quickly from hammies given the risk of re-injuring them. Disaster.

I'd be surprised if we make the finals.

If Roosters lose one game in their run, all we'll need to do is win one more game and frankly, the next 3 are winnable. It will require everyone stepping up, including Hunt, but we are a chance.

If we play with the same effort as we did against Melbourne, we can win more games.

Roosters have Dolphins, Bulldogs, Eels, Storm and then Rabbitohs.

Official:

6+ for Ezra and Cobbo

Season ending for all three, then. If we, by some miracle, make the finals, Reynolds should announce his retirement before the game.

Hypothetical question with Reyno and Mam going down, but mostly Reyno.

If we had Duffy here this year would you prefer / be more confident in him or Madden with us trying to make finals?

It's an interesting question because the reaction to his signing has been mixed, but we are effectively replacing Madden with him... we could end up in the same situation next year with Reyno and Bhunt ageing

I haven't really seen enough of Duffy, but he seems to be a genuine halfback, whereas Madden looked like someone we were trying to develop into a halfback.

I'm guessing Madden will be playing 6 with Bhunt at 7 for the next 4 weeks, but I'm just not sure where the points are going to come from across those two... unless Bhunt is given a license... which means it will fall on Walsh.

Duffy from his Qcup highlights at least appears to have an elite short kicking game, similar to Sam Walker... so he would potentially be able to contribute and ease some pressure on Walsh
In response to your first paragraph.
Reyno and Mam go down...

@FACTHUNT is wanking right now.
