**** man.
One of the few players that literally everyone loves, regardless of the team you support.
There is not a team in the comp that wouldn't empty their cap to get this bloke and he chose to stay with us.
There was a time i thought the likes of SBW and co would talk him into leaving to join the Roosters, there were times i thought he would end up at the Storm and i legit got pissed about it.
I even ranted on here that he should leave when his manager was being a Donkey part way through the season.
But he stayed and i really believe he means what he says when he talks about wanting to win a Premiership with the Broncos.

Once in a generation.
Seems despite what he said publicly he really didn't wanna play for kev. Especially with the latest kangaroos stuff that just happened.

Once in a generation.

I clearly remember the fans booing him whilst all that was going on, and - whilst I may be creating a narrative out of thin air here - I genuinely think it shocked him. I don't think he'd thought it through.

Thanks for the steak dinner Storm, you cheating game ruining **** heads.

This game is seriously our season. We need to turn up and put in our best performance. I don’t care if we win by 1 or 20, we need to be dialled in and just get this win.

I give us a big shot going down to Canberra and causing an upset.. we are then 80 mins away from another Grand Final. There are so many good signs in this footy team over the last few weeks. This week needs to be defence defence defence.

Munster and Hughes are saying on '100% FoOtY' that a few boys will probably be rested, but it 'might be up to them'. Hughes not sure if he will play, seemed cagey. He'll play, whatever, just break him.

If someone isn't 100% and has some niggles there is no way he plays them for an inconsequential game. We shall know soon enough I guess.
Yeah but the Broncos is the one game that is never inconsequential to Bellamy.
If it was anybody else he would probably rest half the team but I'm not ruling out anything from him for this game.

Just a nutso record the storm have v the Broncos.. It's like they took the Broncos DNA and built it out better in a foreign place with strong back office support and none of the corporate mediocrity that seems to be tolerated here.

I reckon Bellamy made a pact with the devil about his games v the Broncs.. just not a natural thing going on there.

Brisbane winning this game v a presumably full strength Storm would do me.. don't care who wins the GF just get a win here :) I still remember 2023 loss v Storm in the last round, didn't even win the minor prem that year.

They (started of by CS9 & echoed by Munster) admitted that they always mark their calendars whenever they play us & make sure they’re up for it. I wonder how much animosity that cheat fcuk Bellamy had towards us? He has been brainwashing those fcukheads with hatred against us.

Bash them, barge through them & destroy those grub fcuks. Something tells me that MM is the sort of coach that our guys need to be able to do all that.

I couldn't care less if they rest or not. I actually hope they don't because if we can beat them with this side with our outs, it will give so much belief heading into finals. If we lose, oh well, nothing new there.

Not talking from a Broncos perspective here but I just don't get Melbourne playing their full strength team for this one. Every player is carrying a niggle or two at this time of year, why risk it? Even if you don't take that into consideration, head knocks are so common right now...Munster, Paps and co could easily get their head in the wrong position tackling Haas and bam, they're gone for week one. I absolutely wouldn't be risking Hughes. It's all well and good to want to get him some game time for him but I think I heard there's every chance he could aggravate the injury again fairly easily? Surely you only risk that in a finals game. They don't win the comp without him IMO.

Bellamy has said in the past that resting players in the final round has cost him a premiership so I think he feels it's better to have momentum going into the finals.
