Not to be a downer but Hughes/Katoa running at Piakura/Walters and Mariner is pretty ****ed. Would like to see our edges just gamble and rush up to throw off Storm's rhythm. The left edge is not going to hold out playing traditionally and passively

I've just caught up with the forward pass stuff. I was expecting some massive mistake instead I agree with the NRL . It wasn't forward according to the rules of the game .
360 could easily have put a moving line on that footage and would have seen a backwards from the hands pass which looked forwards because Shiba got stopped.
Broncos do 1 forward pass and get a forensic examination for 10 minutes and they're ****ing wrong anyway.

I've haven't been concerned about the Storm all year. They are very beatable. I think our best beats they're best and it will come down to errors and where they're made and finishing opportunities.

Rugby League rules are very “feel” orientated.

The difference between a forward pass and a legal pass is more about how it makes you feel than physics.

Does it “feel” like a knock on or a knock back? I’ve had our team clearly knock it back in a way that was called a knock on, and I was fine with because how it felt.

It applies to try groundings, high tackles, dangerous tackles, late hits, offsides…shit sometimes 40/20s fall short but are still awarded because it “felt” like a 40/20.

The worst part is, I’m not even really mad about it.

A great example is, I’m pretty sure if you went back and closely watched the Raiders try off the missed field goal against the panthers - heaps of their players were offside to put pressure on the kicker, it hit the post, they score one of the all time great tries but none of us care because it felt right

It won’t happen but I really wish our players and club in general would stop talking to the media. Do the absolute bare minimum that they are obligated to do and nothing else. I just wish for once in the existence the club would stand up for its self. The media are making a living off kicking the shit out of us at every chance, they are essentially bullying Reece Walsh and all we do is ****ing take it. Worse than that, we release ****ing press statements over a silly joke because we are so ****ing weak.

I hate our club the majority of the time.

Very dumb by Shiba. I'm hoping that I am very wrong but our left side defence was already suspect and now we are going to have guys defending together on that side who possibly haven't played together this year.

You just know that Bellamy will be running his attack there all game.

Just booked my hotel in Canberra.
Up to you now boys
I am interested in going down for this game if we're there but I am not sure I'll be able to get tickets.

I expect the game to be a quick sell out. Does anyone know what the situation is likely to be re getting tickets?

If its in Canberra assume it will be similar for us:

The only way to judge if it's forward is if an official calls it. Any other way is just beer talk.

Thanks mate that is useful info.
I have a couple of mates who will also want tickets so hopefully I will be able to get some.
Ps - broncos ticketed members will get access at the same time as the Raiders ticketed members because the event is owned by the NRL and not the Raiders.

Non-ticketed members the same. If you don’t have a membership, maybe just grab a digital membership. That’ll almost guarantee your success provided you are free at 4pm when they go on sale.

Just need to win now!

Or someone on this forum who's a member, but not going, will lend us their code...

I’d think we could do it with Mam and Xman, without them we’re up against it. I really hope we can somehow land fourth because if we can and get the two above back, I reckon we can win the whole thing.
