Broncos got the juice baby

That entire last 20 minutes I was just convinced that we were going to get robbed in the dying moments.

I could see it all playing out in my mind... Storm milk some ridiculous penalty to get down into attacking territory, a few undeserved 6 agains for god knows what and then after we're on our heels scrambling and defending and holding on for so long, we finally can't take it anymore and Melb score a try at the death to rob us. Shades of Penrith all over again. I was preparing in my mind, convinced it would happen, right up until the final moment.

When I saw Riki catch that last pass was the first moment I actually let myself believe it.
****ing Hughes tried his best, lay on top of Carrigan i think it was clutching at his leg like it had been torn off. 9 seconds to go and still milking for all its worth. Paps is just as bad.
**** off to R360 already you mullet wearing merkin.

Anyone wants to re-live the gf with even more satisfaction i recommend listening to the triple m last 5 mins of the game thats on their gf recap....

CONEHEAD is WILLING the storm on. I hope his records are ****ing whiped from our club. What a flog. Its deadset AWESOME hearing his PAIN.

When ginnane brought up "this could be the greatest gf ever..." CONEHEAD mentioned 23 and 15 hahahaha 23 was YOUR MATE you wanker
Link? I want to listen for sure

Just catching up on postgame celebrations in the sheds:
1. Ezra’s deadest that we would go back-to-back
2. Staggs is like, when the cheat grubs were leading into halftime, we were excited because we knew we would comeback Ang get them 😂😂😂. Fark me, they’re not shying away from deficit scorelines.
3. BHunt so elated that he won it & will only get drunk by Tuesday/ Wednesday 😂.
4. Billy’s getting his surgery done on Saturday & reckons could be back on the field 7-10 months post op. So, a Mid to late July return likely.

I think Papz was Storms most dangerous on the field for the Storm by a significant margin.
Munster went missing, Grant went missing.
Hughes is dangerous but Papz was the only one really making line breaks and capitalizing on it, he just needed literally anyone else except Warbick in support.

Our second halfs are a thing of beauty.
Back in the spoon/Seibold years it was my biggest disappointment in this club to see us capitulate in the back end of the game, every game.
Heads would drop, we would bunch up and look exhausted and had nothing in attack or defense.
Its the polar ****en opposite to that under Madge.
We consistently look the fitter team in the back end of the game, even against the Peptide Panthers.

I dont want to get ahead of myself, but this could be the start of something really special.

Where can I watch the first 2?

I wish the broncos had done something like tails from Tiger Town, or the thing about souths GF run on youtube this year.

I think I would have watched it on repeat all year.

Just an afterthought.

I think Haas was not even 60% right for this game. Maybe @1910 can give us some insight now the game is over but i think the injuries he was carrying were way worse than the club was letting on.

Don't get me wrong his game last night was great, but he looked underdone to me at times.

How good! That’s a true QLD victory.

It’s something that Matthew John’s has been saying about our style in his podcasts recently. He can dribble on a bit but he’s been spot on.

We’re not a methodical, details based team. We saw it in the first half when everyone was fresh, the Storm picked apart our left edge with precision, which has been our weakest spot for months.

But if we hang in and believe, we can put teams away. A bit of talent and effort plays with high energy delivers victories. I still can’t believe we hung in for the last 20 minutes without scoring with all of those changes with HIAs and injuries.

We’re anarchic and this finals series has probably aged me ten years but what a tough and talented team they are! Giddy up!

PS: It’ll be lost in the (justified) Walsh hysteria - but how good is Mam? Is he sneakily going to become an ultimate big game player, like a Lockyer/Lewis/Thurston? To absorb all the pressure and the boos he comes out and hits in defence and toys with them in attack. That pick up from his bootlaces to put in a grubber for a repeat set was all class. Showed maturity at the end too to fill in at dummy half for a set when the boys were gassed. With a full season combining with Walsh, look out!
