Re-watching the game now, my god Coates ducked into alot of tackles
Yeh he unfortunately plays a very grubby game from Bellamy tactics. He consistently ducks tackles and appeals for head highs and regularly will appeal for penalties for getting tackled off the ball when jumping for attacking kicks off munster, he is more dangerous appealing for a penalty then his actual aerial threat

Hi All. I’ve been lurking on this forum for many years and have always just enjoyed being a voyeur of the content and discussion. I’ve ridden the highs and lows with you all for a long time from the shadows of anonymity. It’s a great community and one of my favourite things to do after a win or a loss is to read through the post-game thread.

Like you all, I was so incredibly overjoyed, relieved and proud of our Broncs, this finals series has been absolutely insane. What a team!

Given the crazy comebacks, the Dozer redemption arc, the drama, the Walsh masterclasses etc, I wanted to recap it all and pay my own little humble homage. Like they said in Team America - you need a montage! Hope you enjoy.

Papsmear is one of the worst for that too. Always dropping his head to milk high shots. Thankfully with GF rules they generally don't penalise that soft shit too much like they would a standard fixture. Although Atkins still fell for it a few times sadly.

Could just be bias, but I honestly believe storm's poor strike rate in GF's is due to their bs milking tactics not being as effective compared to a normal game.

Yeah. I thought that during the game but I think might have been some loose footing too. Either way the penalties were a result of a drop before contact

Please forgive this post.

Can someone tell me with some level of surety that the club is buying additional rings for the players (billy) that painstakingly got us to a gf but couldn't play?
The board has approved buying a ring for all of the top 30.

Those not in the reserves will just have a ring without number and name. Will be really special for them too.

It was mentioned on Kevvies podcast that every member of the top 30 will get one.

Prince mentioned something similar for the women's team when interviewed at Lang Park today

So much love and joy in the thread here, geez took a long time to read it all, but worth it.

This feels good, so good...and it feels right. This is a great group of young men and they thoroughly deserve this.

Arey has been consistent with one thing the entire time he's been with us. Leaving Souths the way he did hurt him, and he was extremely grateful for the faith and belief we had in him to lead a young club to what we all hoped was Premiership glory.

Its been a abject honour to have this guy at the club.

Ben Hunt - redeemed!

Billy Walters...is a ****ing Bronco.

Shout out to the recruitment team who did a fabulous job in filling in the margins with some truly top buys. This back five is close to equal of any we have had in our history, and thats not damning with faint praise either...

that really pissed me off. challenges are only allowed in a break in play. There was no break in play since we were entitled to play the advantage.

bringing it back to play the original knock on, just to allow the Storm to challenge borders on match fixing.

there is a very good reason Atkins and the touchies were booed during the medal presentation
100%... that call was an absolute farce.

Why was Karapani allowed to come back on with two minutes remaining? He left the field with 13.43 remaining and I thought HIA was 15 minutes.
HIA's are based on actual time rather than game clock.

So once 15mins were up he was good... there were challenges and all sorts of things in those last 13 minutes that extended the time out
