I would say that it's nothing more than he went to Bellamy for advice. He respects him and values his opinion.

Pretty huge. Smith has a great footy brain and if there's one weakness in our team it's Hooker.

He has a great relationship with Bellamy so makes sense to go to him for advice. He lives on the Goldy from memory so nothing much changes for him and his family.
