Welp, so much for that.

Maybe he let the club know he was exploring his options a fair while ago and that's why the Pezet deal was done so suddenly.

Can’t keep them all. Black looked good but hadn’t blown me away with what I saw of him.

Could be the next Dearden, could be the next Tanah Boyd. Who knows

Pezet has some quality about him though so fingers cross we’ve made the right call

Strange. I know Billy is out most of the year most likely but we have Bunt, Duffy and Rogers as back ups as well. I reckon we should let him go. Let Canberra develop him, we can always bring him back if he turns out good. Hanging around isn't probably going to do too much for him.

When you sign two promising upcoming halfbacks, usually says you're not convinced with your current young halfback.

Seems an odd spot for Coby to land... raiders have Sanders who is highly rated, so it's not like he has an open path.

I would've thought titans are easiest... they have zero halfbacks

He will probably do well at Canberra under Ricky, and with a whole lot less scrutiny/media attention than he would have received as a Broncos 7.

Disappointing to see him go, but if he wasn't willing to stay and fight, and the club brings in 2 young 7's, I have gotta put some faith in the club and coaches knowing what they are doing.

Black is still a big unknown at NRL level, we've at least seen Pezet already move the needle in NRL.

Yeah the last next big Broncos halfback going to the Titans didn't work out so well. If your going to leave the club go to one that isn't a basket case. That said I think without the pressure and expectations that will exist if he continued at the Broncos his development into an NRL standard halfback stands a better chance of occuring. I wish him luck. Personally from what I saw of him this season he would face some real stiff competition when Pezet joins the club if he didn't really step up in the hostcup next season.
