FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

There's already rumours going around from sources that have been right a lot saying that he has until New Years to turn things around. Usually if there's smoke...

If things don't change, they're looking at ending up on the bottom half of the table and I think they would sack him.
Winning the league doesn't afford you an entire season to throw down the drain.

Not after the investment that was made in the summer, not after the contracts that were handed out to club legends, and not at a club with our standards.

FFP will cripple Liverpool for the next decade if they miss out on a UCL spot this season and erode everything Klopp built from the ground up.

These guys are businessmen first and foremost and their assets (both on and off the pitch) are depreciating in value.

FSG will not let this continue.

Jeez that's a bad loss.

I think this goes deeper than Slot and his tactics/selections IMO. Something is rotten in that playing group. They need to figure it out and fix it fast.

I think the players have stopped playing for Slot, but I don't think it's anything more than that.

Our worst run of form since the 50s apparently. He's a dead man walking at this stage. He's not even trying to change it up, just keeps persisting with the same tactics/selections.

Didn't get to watch anything from the game, not even highlights yet.

Surely there was some boos after that game towards the players/manager.

I still thought he'd at least get the season to sort it out, but the way its going they are going to have to activate the kill switch.

No UCL after that summer window would be an ffp shit sandwich, and after today they are now heading for a ucl play off too.

Shouldn't be too much of an issue given the lack of spending the summer prior.

New rules coming in from next year as well with squad cost ratio replacing psr. Teams in Europe only allowed to spend 70% of their compared to 85% for everyone else. Luckily for us, we will be in the championship so we wont have to worry 😂

Was following live comm and it went from 1-1 to 4-1 when organising my daughter for kindy. ****ing hell hey.

I havent seen the last few games so can't comment on overall performance but it doesn't look good. Slot has to be on thin ice.

We're not United, FSG won't let the rot set in or tolerate this going into January window.

Ningnang is right the players want him gone and that much is obvious. I really don't think there's much else to it.

I expect him sacked imminently.

Zirkzee starting again and the other change is Dalot returning at LB...

Its just baffling. More changes had to be made after that Everton game.

If we somehow get a point I'll be amazed.

Palace are tired.

This is when we need to go for the jugular and keep peppering them, but watch us relax and find a way to drop points instead.

Missed the end of the Liverpool Sunderland game this morning as I had to jump on a work call. Just caught it now.

Fair play Chiesa, that was a huge play

Back to the bench for Chiesa. See you again in a few games time.

This team. 😂

1 clean sheet all season, get a goal and then decide yep, we'll see it out. That makes sense.

What a surprise that no, we didn't see it out. Negative substitutions, lose control, 1 corner later its 1-1.
