I doubt we would have had a tougher run - best the minor premiers at their home in extra time, then best the four time defending champs without the vice captain and then best the team you haven’t been able to beat much for like decades…twice - once to make top four and then in the GF with them having two extra days rest and us having half the team off injured in the last ten minutes.

NRLon9 have been posting running through the top 25 clips of 2025, and seeing (yet again) how many outrageous things we did through the finals series is still just unreal.
I do think we'll get better than we were in 25, but to win those games in consecutive weeks the way we did..and the way that makes you feel, not sure it'll be topped as a finals run in a long long time.

Totally agree. I have been watching football for a long time and I have never seen a run like this before. To think how we looked after that Manly game I thought not only was our season over but this team just doesn’t have it. From there it was just insane. One thing that I have appreciated in the short clips and highlights that are getting around everywhere is just how good a lot of our tries were. You miss a lot of it live because you are worried about the result but looking out them isolated the speed and footy instincts a lot of these guys have is insane.
Walsh is something else, his vision is just incredible. I still cannot get over that individual try in the GF. He was on the other side of the field but sees something and 10 seconds later has scored one of the best individual tries ever.

Ridiculous and incredibly entitled of me to have this compliant.... but it was almost too good haha. It was just so unbelievable that we did those comeback wins in those situations against those teams after squeaking into the top 4 by beating our bogey team. The list is endless in the absolute fairytale moments. Makes up for 23 and 15 , never thought it could.
But the reason it is almost too good is at the time it was so hard to appreciate because even the most positive/optimistic supporter could not have believed we were going to do what we did every time (thats probably santa), meaning that you couldn't just sit back and enjoy the moment, it was stress for the whole finals series haha.
This year I asked Santa if we can just go back to back with a 50 nil win the gf against penriff, save us the stress aye..... easy

This upcoming season - the only way it could be better than the last one, is if we come from 5th position to win it all.

I christened my playstation 5 with rewatching the Grand Final. It has been worth it. Hopefully we become back to back with next year
