POST GAME [Round 3, 2026] - Broncos vs Storm

Probably also taken the team a few weeks to get properly fit. Interrupted pre season with the long international draw and a trip to the UK cutting it short at both ends. If memory serves, the Panthers lost the WCC in 2023 and the first 2 games of the season. It's a sign.

Let’s face it, we are losing next week

I honestly don't think Melb make the 4.
Their squad is very thin even injuries to a couple of forwards will find them short let alone one of the spine.

Riki with that scoot from dummy half was great, needs to add that to his game going forward.

First game in a while where it felt like a halfback was at the helm. Thank you for everything Adam, true legend of the club worthy of an office room name, but it's time to bow out mate.

I agreed with Madge's decision when it came to the bench, I wouldn't want to have disrupted that defensive cohesion either. Looking forward to next week where hopefully things aren't so tight and we feel comfortable to bring Mozer and Shibasaki on as impact.

Speaking of which we have a pretty good run of games over the next few weeks, all very winnable.

I'm probably going to eat my words - but the way we played that second half was reminiscent of how we played leading into the finals.

They will take a lot out of that win, that was the final hoodoo dead and buried. Fitness improving, players finding their feet and hands.

I fear for the dolphins next week. We bring this second half form into that game, we will make them look like school boys.

THey haven't missed top 4 in like a decade. 100% chance they make it, Bellamy got them too consistent

Losing two GF in a row, if things start going against them, my money is struggle to even make the 8. If they lose Munny or Hughes for a couple of months, watch them go into free-fall. To their credit, they've battled and prepared well, but look at the talent they lost in one off-season. That team cannot sustain much more talent being off the park.

Keep thinking about that line break of Munster’s in the second half, we seemed shot for numbers but he booted it too hard for Warbrick… I think that’s 100% Walsh aura.

Whatever you think of Munster, he’s not a panic player. They go through hands to score there 99 times out of 100. I think he saw Walsh ahead of him, had flashbacks to October and rushed a kick that was a lower percentage play than just charging at the Brisbane line. I reckon Walsh wouldn’t have been able to stop them if they’d backed themselves.
