POST GAME [Round 5, 2026] - Broncos vs Titans

May, Joe and now this one have all been the left.

Forgot pre-season 2023 v Titans that was a fracture. Joe wasn't a fracture just concussion.

The three fractures, two v Titans and one v Penrith and Joe was all the left hand side.

"Controversial win".

Yeah, 19-8 penalty/six again count in Titans favour but our win is controversial because Titans had ONE try denied from a forward pass, which the exact same thing happened to us in the first half with the same pass.

**** the media in this country is a joke.

Not to mention the Fifita run away try was the result of a hip drop.

The level of controversy for a pass that was actually forward is insane.

Not one mention of their second try being off a blatantly forward pass though.

What about Tino's handoff for the last try when he was facing the wrong way 😂😂 that one should have been a penalty our way.

To add to this we got stung again dragging someone over the sideline. No momentum lost, yet the ref calls held. Where is our reward for for effort within the laws of the game??

Duffy onto the 6 man bench for the cows then if not starting

Yeah unless Reynolds injury is minor, I think Duffy will be the 7. I suspect they might name Reynolds though as a smokescreen but I'm pretty sure Duffy will be the halfback come game day.

Nah wasn't a hip drop at all. He clearly lands on the ground. It was just one of those high risk plays that Walsh and Mam do to many times a game ATM, moreso the panic when it doesn't work.
The most disappointing thing in that first half was the lack of composure especially against a side that will make mistakes and hand up possession and field position.
Second half without Walsh was telling.
Back to basics, power game down the middle, kick and chase with a straight line.
Walsh playing off the back of that is devastating and far more effective than Walsh trying to be everywhere and overplaying his hand.

I don't know about hip drop, but it seemed sus that Morrin could wipe out a defender and give his team mate a clear passage to the line.

How much leeway do you get for 'competing for the ball'?

The bunker had a good look at it too. It seemed like it got filed under the 'too hard' category.

Can’t reassemble an egg after it’s broken! Is it time for headgear Walsh to match headgear Riki? 😄

Yeah one of those 50 50 calls. Morrin looked like he was playing the ball .

Hunt stopped chasing and gave them a spray. I guess Reece overcalled him and instead of Hunt putting Kini under pressure , which would have been a priority given how many he's dropped, we get scored on .

So happy for Mam, I knew we had to just trust his game would come around if we kept running him out there.

He isnt at his peak but given the spine injuries I'm very happy now he's shaping into form.

Duffy's signing was questioned on here...now we see why we did it.

Fingers crossed for Walshy...
