POST GAME [Round 9, 2026] - Broncos vs Roosters

If we get healthy and improve our discipline its ourselves to lose.
You do have to wonder if the negative play counts are a result of the refs tip sheets, so refs going into games expecting us to do certain things.

We've won 2 counts.

Panthers Rnd 1. 13 to 7
Eels Rnd 2. 13 to 7
Storm Rnd 3. 11 to 12
Dolphins Rnd 4. 15 to 7
Titans Rnd 5. 19 to 8
Cowboys Rnd 6. 9 to 8
Tigers Rnd 7. 10 to 7
Bulldogs Rnd 8. 5 to 9
Roosters Rnd 9. 17 to 8

I’m almost certain it is. I don’t think they’re corrupt or intentionally biased, I just think they go in with a preconceived notion that they have to ride the team.

And we care what other clubs' fans think because?

Two wrongs don`t make a right .
You can write a wall of text to justify . It`s still a dog shot .

I can`t condone . Up there with eye gouging and squirrel gripping . Cowardly and weak as FCK .

The way I see rugby league
Hit a guy with a legit shot and hurt him . No problem . Hold him down with help and hit him in the back of the head . Big problem .

Alright princess, I’m sorry Kotoni being a big bad meanie and playing too rough and tough offends and upsets you.
It's going to turn into soccer now that when a slight indication of an illegal movement the player will roll around and cry to award a penalty. Its just gone too far now and unfortunately won't be brought back to the way it used to be played. I'm even fine with making things complicated and have multiple angles and rewinds to every part of the game if it means it is reffed fairly but it just isn't. They will look through certain things with a fine tooth comb and rule things with a technicality but then other things they just leave completely.

Unfortunately the bunker has shown that you can give them a million angles and slow mo and all the time in the world to make a decision and more than half the time you’ll still get a result that seems to defy any and all logic or sense and leaves you wondering what they could possibly be seeing or looking at. It’s like the more resources the bunker gets, the stupider its decisions get somehow

Another thing, it's happened again.

We didn't score a single point last night until Reynolds left the field. Walsh and Reynolds for whatever reason just don't work well. I'm not discrediting Reynolds, he's been great for us. It just seems we are playing better when we have one or the other out there, not both.

Having said that, we were dominated last night in the first 40, can't put that down to Reynolds. It just keeps rearing it's ugly head, the fact that we look much much better with either Walsh or Reynolds controlling the team, not both.

Deadset not only are we being decimated, but we’re getting obscure injuries you don’t usually see

Mariner suffered acute compartment syndrome and needed surgery last night. FFS these fellas can't catch a break.

How the **** did he get back onto the field?

Throw him on the pile.

I know Kevvie had a year there where it all went tits up but this is beyond that.

Just makes you appreciate how hard it is to win a comp. Makes it unbelievable Penrith won 4 consecutively and are looking nailed on to win another.

Also mam doesn’t seem to get the timing right with Walsh either. Always passes behind him or down around his knees.

A quick Google search shows it is extremely severe if not caught straight away but since it has been, that's good news.

The bad news is: Football players with acute compartment syndrome (ACS) typically require emergency surgery (fasciotomy) and can return to play within 3 to 6 weeks, provided the diagnosis is prompt.
