Broncos Roster, Signings and Rumours Discussion 2026

Unless he will stay for the lesser amount offered we have to let him go. Either way he will be part of Broncos folklore. Not even first grade for most of his career, essentially retires and then out of nowhere in our premiership year scores the first and last try of the season (the latter basically sealing the premiership), plays for his state, plays for his country. You couldn't script it any better.

I just wish he was at PED-rith for the year and rocked up 10-12kg heavier
Sure, he’d have giant volcanoes and craters on his shoulders like the Edwards and co.
Sure, he’d have traps like a bodybuilder. Sure, his gas tank would never run empty. But think of the results!
A little “sauce” never hurt anyone 😂

So ,, more muscles give you better cardio ?
They must be on roids and EPO .

But when they leave the club they never tell .....

Even though steroids cause kidney and liver damage and EPO can cause death through too much red blood .

Do you reckon the Penrith doctor takes care of them when they retire or leave to another club ?
Or are they on their own to manage the banned drugs themselves with the risk of injury or death ?
But no one will talk about it . Not even the guys who took the "sauce " but either got injured before making the grade and never had a career or the guys who got sold off to another club because they weren`t required any longer ?

Crazy talk ....

Would you like those tin foil hat making instructions too ?

On a related note. I don’t know if anyone’s ever read Tyler Hamilton’s biography where he talks about the Armstrong doping.

Basically EPO stops the message from your heart to your muscles saying stop, I’m straining. It’s why big guys (sprinters in cycling) were able to drop climbing specialists up mountains as happened in Lance Armstrong’s team.

Fascinating read if anyone’s not read it.

Have you ever heard any of the Sharks guys talk about it, even the fringe guys that were part of the program but never went on to have a decent career, even though we know they were doing it?

I don’t think players would be taking the kind of doses where your kidneys are at risk and if it is injected then it’s kinda leaving the liver alone for the most part

Lance Armstrong, Marion Jones, Brock lesnar... far more eyes on them over a far longer period...... people dont just go and dob people in when they are involved themselves. Look at Brock lesnar, who the fuvk thinks he wasnt on roads? Lol.

Also, peptides. Look it up. Seriously, stop just calling everyone paranoid and have a decent argument. They aren't doing a lance Armstrong but they've certainly been extremely lucky with their injuries, and they have been extremely ahead of everyone in fitness for 6 years (unheard of in modern day sport, talent no, fitness yes as everyone has access to the same sports medicine... except lance Armstrong of course).

I'd add:
Shibasaki

But we need to prioritize as a matter of urgency:
Willison
Mariner

As sad as it is to say, Mariner is now 100% a wait-and-see proposition before throwing any sizeable contract at him, and that goes for any club willing to look at him.

The injury could take a while to fully recover from and get back to the level he was at.
