Count for me all the other shoulder charges in the past 3 years across the NRL which have:

a) Been deemed penalty sufficient;
b) Been sent to the sin bin; and
c) Sent off.

Honourable mention if you also count those which have occurred without any of the 3 actions above.

He did though. There was one angle that looked like shit for him but the other angle clearly showed an attempted tackle.

So anyway ponga should have to sit out for at least 3-4 weeks for a send off shoulder charge.

I love Joey saying he bleeds blue and he thinks the Ponga call was wrong. He also bleeds Newcastle who Ponga plays for. If it was anyone else he'd be screaming send off.

Will be interesting to see how the judiciary plays it

Suaalii was charged Grade 2 Reckless which was 4-5 weeks suspension... so if they're consistent and think it was an actual send off then Ponga should be copping the same.

OR do they not even charge him (same as Victor) or at worst just Grade 1 him with a fine... therefore confirming that it was absolutely not a send off.

They could Grade 2 it for a 1 week suspension... the likely response to ensure so Ponga can play Game 2... but there's been a ton of Grade 2's this year and they're not all send offs... so they would also be confirming that it definitely wasn't a send off.

If they do either of the latter then it means that Klown can't adjudicate the game anymore and should be sacked from "top ref in the game"

Loiero only 15 mins, that little faith, why pick him at all? If form mattered, why was he picked but not the proven big game player?

Flegler 25 mins? Thats what hes played all year, are you picking someone at origin who isnt yet capable of playing more than 30 mins because of injury but you say Walsh's injury makes him not worth picking?

Theres a send off in the backs but shiba isnt brought on, becuase hes shit? Why pick him then? He shouldn't have been there Lol.

I think the 1st 25 mins masked a lot of these issues. No doubt the next game will be a qld win because... origin... but some of these guys shouldn't have been picked in the 1st place... slater got out coached by Laurie bloody Daley lol...

It's not even a send off at club level.

It's a sin bin at worst, especially with mitigating factors with the player literally being pulled down.

I guess the one positive is that it took the ref helping them a massive way and QLD being down to 12 men for 20 minutes for NSW to win.

So if he gets Game 2 or 3 or the GF (when the noise settles down) does it mean that he's doing exactly what the NRL want him to do
