I thought Verhoven showed he has a lot
Of promise. Hot take I know because he was quite woeful with his hands, and abhorrent with his defence, but he just showed a bit of what he is capable of.
 
We just make even the simplest parts of footy look difficult atm. We aren't nailing any of the basics, poor depth being exposed, and players like Verhoeven way too raw to be thrown into shit like that unfortunately

Questions need to be asked and a review needs to be done about what has gone so wrong (aside from the injuries) because this is going no differently to 2024 and that resulted in the coach being sacked. Maguire's better GF result will buy him a bit more time but they'll want to come out way better in 2027.

“Aside from the injuries” like it’s completely peripheral to the success or failure of a team to be missing huge chunks of a roster.

With the exception of paix & hunt why do you even think those players are playing? They are the ****ing “roughies”!
 
Only way to watch a broncos game at this point... well I turned it off at like 15mins... so I guess it's the only way to get through 15mins of a broncos game nowadays

Annoyed that Fifita wasn't paying more...

From the time that Reyno left the field our attack appeared to go up a gear. Thanks for the service mate but just retire your cooked. Our handling with the ball is nearly as bad as our defence and nearly every Souffs try came directly after yet another error.

Same goes with Arthurs he's just outright too slow anymore and needs to be shown the door.

I just don't get why our defence is so soft. Barely anyone goes in low and hard first, we seem to catch and hold, a bit like being tackled by your mum.

Surely Madge is starting to come under some pressure for his position.
 
We were 5-3, looked right in the mix. Should have beaten the Roosters.
And it's completely fallen apart.
Really disappointed in alot of the Senior players and even the depth who just had to do a job.
That's attitude, desire, basic execution.
Backing up your team mates in attack and defence.
All poor.
Besides Willison, Karapani and Piakura (and obviously Hass when he played) the last 6 weeks has been woeful.
