Improvement the last game and a good last 25 minutes against the Titans. Horne back for first game since March 7.

The two previous times this season the Cowboys have been way too strong and physical- 13 tries to 4. Williams is going to need a repeat of his last game.
 
Broncos 18-16 at half time.

They have these good moments, Cash under the posts really fighting hard, Gundry goes 80m with incredible speed and skill, Martin dives over.

But amongst that they just clock off and allow soft Cowboy tries from kicks.
 
Soft try but lovely work from the Broncos.

Tupuse, Horne and Donovan win the ruck, Cassidy spots space behind the ruck and goes all the way.

22-20 kick to come.
 
Great try from Cassidy. Forwards all played their part.
 
Lateo lofts a pass to the wing, he steps back in and none of the Broncos can cover the space. That's poor from the Broncos left edge.
 
Cows score off their kick-off set right down the middle.

Too big too strong.
 
Right there is my frustration, get up 24-20 but then allow Lateo to throw a long pass Doyle cuts back inside to score nearl untouched.

24-24.
 
Then it gets worse, has Walker and Lateo got Ebola? Can't we touch them at all.
 
Tonihi hits back for the Broncos.

Cows deny the Broncos twice including a great try saver on Igasan. Gifford opts cross-field and Tonihi has all the time in the world and makes no mistake.

The tackle on Igasan may have saved two points.

Cows 30-28 kick to come.
 
Broncos go back to back.

Two good runs from Gundry had them running down hill. On the last Owen holds the ball for an age, somehow offloads before hitting the ground and Tupuse claims it.

Not the prettiest try, but they're all worth 4 points.

Broncos 32-30 kick to come.
 
Just like that the Cows hit back.

34-32

Cows run it on the last. They have the numbers down their right. Tupuse jams in and misreads the pass. 2-1 and they pass it back to one another.

36-32 Cowboys, Lateo kicks it from touch.
 
Mason Kira is always impressive, aggressive and entering that 21-22 age group playing Cup and can't play NRL.
 
All came off the back of a poor kick chase from an early kick. Mesritz nearly broke through the wall of defence to have the Broncos on the back-foot from the start.
 
Broncos force a mistake and give themselves a good opportunity.

Play 1, Gundry finds space and tries to put Tonihi down the sideline but Disharne can't get his hands to it. Turn over.

That should be game.

Hold the phone, Cows turn it over.
 
Brisbane go close but in the end the siren beats them. Owen puts in a desperation kick for the corner but Poese runs out of room and can't ground it in the field of play.

Cowboys 36-32.

That's the NRLQ season done. Some decent signs for the Broncos. I liked what I saw from the debutants.
