Not a bad option.

You ever thought about sports administration, Bfan?
I feel like the above over qualifies me for rugba leeg journalism rather than sports admin... although we have been watching the trainwreck that is broncos R&R for the last 20 odd years.. so maybe it's over qualification for that job as well

“The Broncos were a manufactured expansion side, but we are the first grassroots side to ascend to the NRL and I think a lot of people when they hear that will think ‘actually you’re right, that is our team’, if they’re not already a Broncos fan.”

I thought BHQ had some lousy trolls. Terry may have taken the cake.

Story was on facebook & you could comment. I asked how many times this year have the Broncos conceded 50 plus points.

Ah yes, so grassroots that they are famously from the League heartland known as "The".

More than just one cake too. Nom nom nom.

Yes the heartland with all those homegrown players like ... ahhh... Fuller I guess??

They've got NSW'men though (Isaiya Katoa, Bostock, Donoghoe, Ray Stone, Jake Averillo) and former broncos (Isaako, Herbie, Cobbo, Nikorima, Flegler, Plath, Molo)

NSWRL will be happy

Why are they just Called Dolphins..?
Are they the only team without a suburb or city?

I'm pretty sure the Warriors don't go by NZ or Auckland anymore, they use a sponsor.

they were the Vodaphone Warriors ... now they are the One.NZ Warriors

Well that's pretty stupid.
What's the point...?

How are they doing that exactly?

- Great junior pathway system
- Proactive signings
- Player depth
- Succession plans
- Advertising at grass roots levels
- Re-signing key players before October 1
- Signing players under the age of 35
- Promoting themselves at schools
- Openly stating they want to be number 1 long term
- Clear structures in place
- Having hookers that actually run
