Piakura is one of the most overhyped players in this squad. I mean seriously, what the **** has he ever done in first grade of proper note at all. I cant remember one game where he was a game breaker at all. If anything, he is one of our most laziest players in terms of workloads. The hype on this bloke is ridiculous for his output. I am not going to pretend to like us having Gosieswki in our starting side but if he makes us better defensively out there I will happy. We desperately need to go to market for a suitable edge forward to replace him IMO. Riki will need to be good this season as IMO PIakura is significantly better than Riki.

I think that development deals are what the Innes' of the world should be for- not Shibasaki. There is still value in Shibasaki but it's train and trial and maybe two games in Origin after round 11. If at the end of this season Innes had played two NRL games and 20 Cup games on a development deal that's a great outcome.

I can remember him having runs on the left edge, once against the Jets in Meninga he terrorised Sam Walker in 2019. But I can't remember him ever being named anywhere but front row or bench and then running a bit wider if the opportunity came up like little Sam just standing there.
