I don't know. Bennett made a general comment today but he was implying that the "journalist" made it up. Kent was talking about what he heard about in the gym. That information was from Ikin who got it from Marshall when they were playing golf
 
Very interested to see if Newscorp tries to undermine Bennett at the Broncs now that 1. he's got them on a ban so don't even bother turning up to the press conferences, and 2. he's got the cops onto them.

I assume it was some off the cuff comment from Ikin on 360, in which case Wayne should be crawling up his son in law's ass asking him why he's digging for dirt about his father in law's club from a former Tiger.

Bennett did not imply the journalist was making it up.....he straight out said he made it up.

It was in the article Kent wrote this afternoon I'm pretty sure. Either Marshall made it up, Ikin made it up or Kent made it up or wayne is just flat out lying. What would one of those first three have to gain by making that up. It's clear Wayne is lying. Just don't know what he is trying to gain. Like Kent said Wayne would not have said anything a few years ago but he clearly has the shits with the media because of what is going on with whoever his girlfriend is.

He basically went on a tirade about how "Wayne has changed". He even went as far back as the 90's to try and make his point. Tallis backed him up because of course he did. He didn't really expand on anything that wasn't in that article earlier and just went on and on about how suddenly Bennett cares about what the media are saying about him because of this shite with his personal life that the media should not have gone after in the first place, the shameless tabloid *****.
 
Kent said what was in the article. I don't think he added anything that wasn't in the article.

Err, Kent has plenty to gain. Obviously he's seen the high profile fake accusations are giving Trump. Kent's name is up in lights, he's everywhere, his profile has been heightened by this. I don't see any evidence that WB lied. He simply said Milf is training just like everyone else. How the **** is it clear WB is lying ? Where is the clear, unequivocal evidence ?

I don't follow you - you're not sure about who's lying, what exactly was said yet you say it's clear Wayne is lying?
Did you hear what Kent said last night? He was talking about how Milford is a lazy trainer and won't reach his full potential like that. He then said words pretty close to,"he's the type of bloke that when he's doing a set of ten, if no-ones looking, will punch out eight. Benji's horrified."
I think it's reasonable of anyone to assume that the info came from Benji, no? I'd go as far as to say Kent worded it like that deliberately to give his story more credence.

So Ikin made it up then? Ikin works with him. He wouldn't have wrote the article mentioning ikin if it wasn't true. Ikin would have just flat out denied it and said Kent made it up. Get your head out of the sand

Benji told Ikin mate. I don't know how clear I can say it. Bennett came out today and said that the journalist made it up which is a flat out lie unless you believe that Ikin and Benji are being germs and making shit up. Kent referenced it in his article. He works with Ikin ffs.

Read my post again, mate. Slowly. Kent said it in such a way that anyone who is actually listening would reasonably assume it came from Benji. Remember, this was before the whole golfing with Ikin story came out.
 
I think the big concern is why this conversation is even happening.

Why is there such doubt about the work ethic of one of our stars? Was there ever so much talk about Bennett losing his touch and our stars are lazy in the past during the previous Bennett era?

That to me is a concern that there is so much negative talk about what's going on with the Broncos and the players.
