I wrote it off as a loose carry.....hours ago.

Hardly see what the whoo-ha is about tbh. Anywhere else on the field and it's deemed a knock on and we've found other things to discus instead

...like just how poor Peter Wallace was for the Panthers last night, for example.

We certainly dodged a bullet with that one.

You didn't see him lose possession? What, did he misplace possession? "Oh, I still have possession, I just can't find it right now". It worked for Jamie Lyon I guess. "See, it was just on my torso this whole time".

Possession, it's always in the last place you look.

If I didn't know better, I'd think you dislike Peter Wallace...

He was far from the worst Penriff player, and far from the worst hooker in the comp. Provides better service than Macca too.

Parra v Cows. Semi gets the ball knocked out goes backwards knock on...

WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE!!!

As you can see, one of the arrows is pointing to the ball. The other is Moylan's left hand.

That right there is what they call separation.

Now under the rules, he had to re-grip the ball. Which is why they denied Macca's try last week. But then a week later, it's the opposite.

Even if his left hand didn't come away from the ball, it still wasn't sufficient control based on their interpretation of the Macca call the week before.

There is another angle that shows his left hand is away from the ball, as well. It's the side on view.

I think Maccas situation was easier to see.
I agree Moylan lost control but I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn the on field decision. I reckon the bunker new he lost it too, they had about 87 looks at it but couldn't find the money shot.

What that arrow is pointing at is his hand. It's not his arm, it's his left hand which can be clearly seen watching the video.

It is not possible for his left hand to be on the ball there. And there are two side on views that show his hand coming away from the ball.

There was sufficient evidence if the video ref bothered looking for it.

That's his right arm. His left hand is above the ball at the back of it, it doesn't come away and he pops it down with force, which is why it appears to "drop". Right call in my opinion.

Manly currently copping the same treatment we got last night for the horrendous crime of flogging an opposing NRL team. Penalty count currently 5-1 Souths including a phantom offside after a drop ball inside the 10m line

Also hearing crickets after hymel took half an hour to put the ball down yet milf was CLEARLY held last week
i feel a bit dirty for even thinking this, but I'm enjoying how manly are playing this season... not sure why, but they don't seem to be such an arrogant **** team as they have in the past. Tough game coming up next round I think.

you need to send this to the fuckwits at nrl 360 and other newslimited **** bag journals and ask them to be outraged on their show and papers next week.

The arrow going across Kahu's leg, that's his left hand which can be seen in the video quite clearly.

And then there is this.

If his left hand was on that ball the whole time, why can you clearly see the Broncos socks just above the ball? You wouldn't be able to if his left hand was on that ball.

And you can also see a little of green there which is the field.

Hi fellas. I thought I was gonna miss this game because I'm in Thailand. Totally flooked on to catching the first half of the game when I was out partying that night. Pure bliss I tell you... Big screen, cheap beer, hot girls and my team playing like premiership favorites! Pretty drunk, but looked like our man milf played well? Loved the Roberts try. **** he is something else that guy. Not Suprized too that we let them back in the game AGAIN... Surely this team is going to sort that shit out THIS year.. Mate, if we do, and bring it home strong we are as gooda chance as any team this year. We all know it this, but until that happens the 2017 Broncos are a mystery unfolding lol. Cheers fellas, will read your posts now.

As to the Wallace no-try decision.....

The moment it happened I said to my son, if that exact thing happens anywhere else on the field it is called knock-on, so it's the right call

The exact same thing did happen later in the game, and in other games over the weekend, and ALL of them called knock on, and nobody claimed they were wrong

The rules don't change just because you're over the line instead of mid-field

You can argue if you want that the ball doesn't really go forward if it's knocked out that way, but the way the rule has been interpreted for as long as I can remember is knock on

So argue the rule is wrong, or argue the interpretation of the rule is wrong, but the way the game has been reffed in recent memory that call was spot on

I re-watched the passage of play leading up to Penrith's first try a few times.

Based on the Channel Nine broadcast it is impossible to tell if Moga was offside or not. It was shown live and they never went to a replay.

I agree with whoever said it's hard to believe he wasn't back the 10 considering they were on our goal line and the play the ball was on the other side of the field.

It stinks.

The other bizarre thing happened a few moments later. We conceded another penalty. Sutton stopped the clock to call out Boyd. McGuire walked out with him. I thought the penalty was for Josh McGuire holding down (he was and it was pretty blatant) but Sutton said something like "I'm not copping that from Adam." It must've been for Blair giving a facial or an elbow or something.

Blair was involved in the tackle but it's impossible to see from the angle on the broadcast exactly what he was penalised for.
