We need a solid, no excuses no bull@%it performance for this game. I almost feel as though anytime we have some big names out or people backing up from origin we just go into a negative mindset knowing we aren't expected too win.

Recently we've seen Melbourne perform impressively without the likes of smith, cronk, slater and co. We've seen the cowboys put in some solid efforts without jt, Morgan and of course Scott. And last week also we saw the sharks have a good win without the likes of Maloney, Holmes, Fifita and graham. I don't think the origin excuse can wash anymore especially given the ability of other teams who are worse off to handle this period of the season.

Without their star players these other teams have guys who just stand up and know someone has to get the job done and that's what we need tomorrow.

9.18am: James Roberts is called for a chat with Broncos coach Wayne Bennett and leading sports psychologist Phil Jauncey. Bennett believes Roberts should be picked for Origin III and he can turn up the heat on Jarryd Hayne with a blinder against the Raiders.

NSW aren't going to drop their golden boy. He has at least 2-3 years of riding on the coat tails of '09 left in him.
 
Dugan's the right centre, right? He never gets injured.

Hayne had a "blinder" against the wooden spoon side. Nsw will be calling him their saviour now. No chance he gets dropped
